The much-anticipated trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti
Sanon and Rajkummar Rao starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi is out. For Bollywood film lovers,
the movie has all the elements of a complete desi entertainer.
Kriti aka Bitti - hails from Bareilly, a small town in Uttar
Pradesh. From smoking, drinking to break dancing - Bitti is no ordinary girl.
She is on a lookout for a man who accepts her eccentric self. Kriti nails the
character of a modern small town girl.
Ayushmann as Chirag Dubey is the typical friend zoned lover
who seeks help from Rajkummar Rao to win Kriti over. The characters are
interesting and very relevant and will also tickle your funny bones particularly
in certain scenes.
Rajkummar owns each frame that he is in. It is difficult to
not admire this impeccable actor who can nail almost any character.
The film is an adaptation of a French book, Ingredients of
Love. In the poster, we can see Kriti absorbedly reading a book titled Bareilly
Ki Barfi and the book certainly revolves around the theme of the book.
The movie is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and written by
Dangal helmer Nitesh Tiwari. Bareilly Ki Barfi is slated to release on August
18, 2017.
