Rajkumar Hirani to play Subhash Ghai in Sanjay Dutt's biopic?

Sanjay Dutt's biopic has been in news ever since Rajkumar Hirani has pronounced the project. It took a lot of people by surprise that a biopic has been made on Sanjay Dutt as he is still alive and getting his life on screen wouldn't have been a cakewalk.

Now, there is one thing that has grabbed headlines - Rajkumar will seemingly be stepping into the shoes of Subhash Ghai for the biopic. A source said a famous tabloid, “Hirani will play the role of director Subhash Ghai, whose films Dutt has been a part of, most notably among them being Khalnayak. Hirani’s character will approach Ranbir (Dutt) to make a biopic on him and joke about it in the film though it later turned out to be a reality!"

For the role of Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in by the director. His transformation into Dutt has been loved by the audiences. From his walking style to that hunchback, Ranbir totally transformed himself just like Sanjay Dutt.

In an interview lately, when Ranbir was questioned about the film, he told, "I am really keeping my fingers crossed for Sanjay Dutt biopic, it was an altogether different experience shooting for the film. I can't imagine and believe how much can a man go through hell in one life. He has paid for his deeds, made mistakes and got everything in this life. While filming there were times when I would observe him a lot, talk and walk like him but then I started to distance myself from him. After the image and look of Sanjay Dutt was released it was appreciated, but the role that I am portraying is not an act. I hope everyone likes it."
