Jackie Shroff opens up on Tiger and Disha's break-up reports!

Recently, the conjectures of Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff's break-up hit the headlines and it left followers of the rumoured couple worried for them. Now, amidst conjectures of Disha and Tiger's break up, Jackie Shroff talked about their bond to a publication. Tiger's father and the senior actor stated that he has seen them going out together. However, he refrained from commenting on his son's personal life.

Speaking in a media chat, Jackie Shroff talked about Tiger and Disha's break-up reports. The Hero actor told that they are friends and that he has seen them hanging out together. However, he added that he doesn't keep a track of Tiger's life. He revealed, "hey (Tiger and Disha) have always been friends and are still friends. I have seen them go out together. Not that I keep track of my son’s love life (laughs). That’s the last thing I want to do, like infringe into their privacy. But I feel that they are thick buddies. They spend time with each other besides work."

The Khalnayak star further clarified that how they go about their lives, is up to both Disha and Tiger. However, he further added that he and his wife Ayesha Shroff share a great bond with Disha. He revealed, "See, it is up to them whether they are together or not, whether they are compatible (with each other) or not. It is their love story, like me and my wife (Ayesha) have our love story."

 

Janhvi Kapoor discloses about father Boney Kapoor’s condition for her future groom!

As we all know that Janhvi Kapoor is a true daddy’s girl. She often shares loveable photos with the Boney Kapoor. Unnecessary to say, Boney wants the best for her daughters. In fact, he also has an exciting condition for Janhvi’s prospective groom. Janhvi made this disclosure during a media chat as she promoted her forthcoming film GoodLuck Jerry. During the chat, the Dhadak actress disclosed that Boney wants his son-in-law to be as tall as him.

Janhvi revealed, “Papa has this thing. He doesn't care anything else, he was just like 'He should just be as tall as me' and papa is 6'1”. She also emphasised that Boney gave a golden piece of advice to her and Khushi and it speaks volumes about a father’s unconditional love.”

“As a kid, he used to tell me and Khushi that before you get married, I want to make sure that you can go and tell your husband that my father has made me travel all around the world before I even got married to you. He didn't want to leave any stone unturned. But now I realise that he did that because he wanted to make sure that the person that we marry lives up to how giving he's been with me and Khushi,” she further added.

Aamir Khan talks about Laal Singh Chaddha averting clash with KGF Chapter 2!

Bollywood biggie Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha will soon hit the cinemas on the 11th of August. The movie which is the Hindi remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, has been one of the most awaited movies in recent times. The release of the Advait Chandan directorial has been postponed quite a few times in the past, due to the pandemic and numerous other reasons. Speaking of which, at a latest event in Hyderabad, Aamir talked about the same. He stated how averting the clash with KGF Chapter 2 has been fortunate for them.

For the information, Laal Singh Chaddha was supposed to release in the theatres on the 14th of April this year: the same day that Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 hit the cinemas. However, Aamir’s movie was pushed back as the VFX on the film was not completed on time. Speaking about how Laal Singh Chaddha was ‘saved’ by averting clash with KGF 2, Aamir revealed “Laal Singh Chaddha was supposed to release on that day. But fortunately for us, Red Chillies was taking a little time on the VFX so we got saved! Otherwise, we would have come with KGF 2.”

Aamir also talked about the pan-India phenomenon when it comes to films and told, “KGF 2 is a Kannada film, there is Pushpa, Baahubali, RRR (all Telugu)… All these films have come from the south of India and have won the hearts of audiences across the country.”

Alia Bhatt to become a creative producer for Darlings!

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is going to make her debut as a producer with her forthcoming film Darlings. This film will be co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan. Darlings will also see Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew in key roles.

Recently on the trailer launch event, Alia was questioned a lot of questions about being a producer and now in a latest media chat with a daily, the actress has opened up about box office numbers and how she follows her creative instinct.

Speaking about the box office numbers, the Student of the Year actress revealed that she doesn’t understand numbers. She has always marched her own beat and now after turning into a producer, she is relying on what has guided her so far, her creative instinct. She revealed, “Numbers don’t make any sense to me. I have a business [bent of] mind, but if you talk numbers, I [drift] out of the conversation. When it comes to being a producer, I will always be a creative producer. I respond instinctively.”

Darlings is a dark comedy and it revolves around a wife who abducts her own husband to avenge the years of mistreatment she suffered at his hands. Her mother helps the girl in this task. Shefali Shah plays Alia Bhatt’s mother in the movie and it is evident from the trailer that they do share a great friendship on screen.

Brad Pitt’s action-comedy Bullet Train to release on August 4 in India!

The Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt will next be seen in Bullet Train. The new action-comedy movie is directed by David Leitch - who captivatingly, used to be Pitt's stunt double - and is based on the popular Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kōtarō Isaka.

As we know that Indian fans are keenly awaiting the release of Bullet Train. Now, Bullet Train will be releasing on August 4 in India, which is also a day before the US' scheduled August 5 release date. For the information, Bullet Train takes place inside a bullet train heading from Tokyo to Kyoto, focusing on different assassins with missions connected to the other, unbeknownst to the characters themselves. Brad Pitt essays Ladybug, an assassin who wants to give up on his "trained killer" tag, but is brought back into the game by his handler Maria Beetle (Sandra Bullock in a cameo appearance!) with a mission to collect a briefcase on board the bullet train. As predictable, chaos follows!

Arjun Kapoor talks about his tattoos for Ek Villain Returns!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last movie Gangubai Kathiawadi was loved by all and now the filmmaker is all geared up for his next masterwork Heeramandi.

Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The reports further reveal that Fardeen has been cast opposite Aditi Rao Hydari in SLB’s period drama series. Fascinatingly, Fardeen's mother-in-law Mumtaz was in the news a few days ago for being a part of the same show and now it is Fardeen who might be seen in this show. Talking to a daily, when Mumtaz was questioned about being a part of Heeramandi, she revealed, “nothing has happened on that front yet but Fardeen has shot for the show already."

For the information, Heeramandi is not a film, but an eight-episode web series. The shooting for the show has started. DOP Sudeep Chatterjee shared the photo of the clapboard last month in which it was written 'Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali...DOP: Sudeep Chatterjee...Mahurat Shot...Date: 27.06.2022'. While sharing the post, Sudeep wrote, "To new beginnings".

Earlier, Netflix officially pronounced its association with the filmmaker Bhansali for Heeramandi. “We are excited to announce that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi IS COMING TO NETFLIX. Words aren't enough to explain how excited we are that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is partnering with us for this epic Netflix Original series,” a part of the social media post read.

Anil Kapoor talks about working with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal!

After Shamshera’s release, Ranbir Kapoor is now shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and the actor flew to Delhi to shoot for the movie. This movie will also see Anil Kapoor in a key role who will be joining the team in Delhi. In a latest media chat, the veteran actor confesses that it is thrilling to join the shoot of Animal.

While Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna started filming Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture earlier this year, Anil joined the unit on July 20 in Mumbai. Speaking about working with Ranbir Kapoor, Anil disclosed that he is a talented, hard-working actor who can portray the finer nuances of every role effectively. I am working with the younger generation — Hrithik Roshan in Fighter, Aditya Roy Kapur in Captain, Ranbir in Animal and Harshvarrdhan in Bindra. It’s one of the best phases for me.

He will sport a different look in the movie. On being asked about his role, Anil Kapoor disclsoed that he was looking forward to working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga after Kabir Singh. “I liked the story that Sandeep narrated to me, and I was sure that I wanted to be part of the film.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s 6 months cricket training for Mr And Mrs Mahi!

As per media updates, Janhvi Kapoor will come together again with her Roohi co-star Rajkummar Rao for Mr And Mrs Mahi. The movie is directed by Sharan Sharma, who directed Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. In 2021, the actress confirmed about the film Mr And Mrs Mahi on her social media handle and wrote: “Time to pad up - it’s going to be a journey of two hearts chasing a dream! Presenting #MrAndMrsMahi, coming to cinemas near you on 7th October 2022.” While Janhvi will essay the role of Mahima, Rajkummar plays a character named Mahendra.

Recently, Janhvi disclosed that she underwent six months of training to get into the character of a cricketer. "It was an exhaustive process of six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role," the actress revealed to a daily. Furthermore, a source close to the movie revealed us that Janhvi is trying to master the role of a cricketer. "She trained in cricket stances - from [batting] to understanding the body language of a player. The training was tailored as per the film's needs. It has been a physically intensive film for Janhvi as she also maintained a strict protein-heavy diet to portray the agility of an athlete."

The actor responded that he generally does not talk much about this and also there is no particular phase he wants to mention. He further stated that we should not talk about those struggling days since it might demotivate aspiring artists. “Everyone goes through struggles, but mine was so much. Sometimes I used to think I won't be able to achieve my goals, I even thought of committing suicide. I couldn't even return to Kolkata due to some reasons. But my advice is never to think of ending your life without fighting. I am a born fighter and I didn't know how to lose. And, see where I am now,” revealed the actor.

Farhan Akhtar talks about Indian representation in Hollywood!

Recently, Farhan Akhtar hosted the Russo Brothers, accompanied by his business partner Ritesh Sidhwani, at his residence. At the meeting, the filmmakers talked about their work, trends in the Indian and western film industries, and content travelling globally, thanks to streaming giants. Farhan, who lately made his international debut with Ms Marvel, also touched upon the subject of globalisation of Indian actors.

In a media chat, on being questioned about whether he foresees a time when actors could even swim across borders, The Don 2 director revealed, “Honestly, you are seeing the evolution yourself. How many actors or people from India were working in other parts of the world 10 or 15 years ago? You could count them on your fingertips. That has already changed. Irrfan was a great example, and Om Puri before him was another great example. Priyanka is doing exceedingly well and Alia is also doing a film now in Hollywood. So it is changing and I feel we have to be very grateful towards this push for diversity that’s happening within storytelling in the west. That plays a huge role and that is immediately inclusive.”

He also opened up about his stint in Marvel as he revealed, “And that’s something I truly loved about Ms Marvel. That it’s about a Pakistani Muslim girl. To imagine that Marvel woud be making a story with her, and at the centre of it, is something very unique and new. And it was exciting to be a part of it." He ended by saying, “We are seeing the change happening and I am sure as time progresses we will see more cross pollination between the two movie making countries”.

Presently, Farhan Akhtar is working on a movie script, for his next directorial venture, which is suspected to be Don 3.

Shahid Kapoor and Dinesh Vijan team up first time for a love story!

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has already finished shooting for an action thriller with Ali Abbas Zafar and Farzi with Raj and DK for OTT.  Now, the Kabir Singh has locked his next movie. As per a media source, Shahid Kapoor is teaming up with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Production for the first time.

"Shahid Kapoor has been discussing a probable collaboration with Dinesh Vijan for a while now and the things have finally fallen in place. The actor has loved a subject and already signed the dotted lines. It's slated to go on floors in the last quarter of 2022" disclosed a source close to the development.

"It's Maddock's biggest love story till date. The yet untitled film will be shot in India and abroad. The makers are looking to shoot in Mumbai, Delhi and multiple European countries. The pre-production work has already begun, with multiple teams going on a recce," the source further added. The director's name has been kept under wraps for now.

Ranveer Singh’s Chief Guest act at Liger Trailer Launch!

South heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his debut in the Bollywood with the Pan India entertainer, Liger, helmed by Puri Jagannadh. The team of this Karan Johar production launched the theatrical trailer on July 21. As per media updates, Ranveer Singh became chief guest of honour at the Liger Trailer Launch in Mumbai.

Furthermore, the first song, Akdi Pakdi was launched lately and it created buzz across the social platforms. The entertainer is all set to hit the big screen on August 25 in multiple Indian languages.

Devi Sri Prasad gives exciting details about Pushpa 2, Bawaal and Cirkus!

Well-known singer-composer 'Rockstar' Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP is famous for his theatrical premiere of the US tour. He did a concert show in India in 2016, which was the first-of-a-kind attempt in the world. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, and other celebs from the industry experienced something like never before having high-end Dolby Atmos sound effects. Addressed as 'musical narrator' by Mahesh Babu, DSP is a true-blue performer besides being a music composer.

About Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2, DSP discloses, "The base for the album was done while we were working on Pushpa: Part 1 because initially, it had to be one film and not in parts. One or two songs have been shifted to the second part and it is brilliant stuff."

Furthermore, he revealed, "Daakko Daakko Meka which was the first song of the film has this signature music that was supposed to come out in the second half and not for this one. Originally, there was a different song which is now moved to the second part and you will love it. So the signature music will have a continuation in the second part and will also end with it. That should be the first song to be out when Pushpa 2 is done. It will take us from Pushpa 1 to Pushpa 2 but will be presented in a different way, very upbeat."

DSP has composed music for Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal as well. Varun along with lead actress Janhvi Kapoor is already shooting for a romantic song in Krakow, Poland. Holding his excitement of not revealing much about the album, DSP discloses it is going to be one ' beautiful musical movie.'

"Nitesh Tiwari narrated the entire script to me as I had to work entirely on the film's music and BGM. He was thrilled and happy from the moment I discussed music and which song should be used and placed in the story. The other day Varun Dhawan called me personally and said, 'I'm so excited about the love song.' It is going to be a beautiful musical movie, believe me", discloses one of the bankable Tollywood music composers, DSP.

DSP has also composed one song for Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus. 'There are total 2 songs in the film out of which I have composed one which is a groovy melody,' Devi Sri Prasad revealed.

In a media chat, the actor revealed, "Mere producers ne mujhe bola tha abhi, ki 'Tu aesa actor hai jo 25 din mein paise double kar deta hain humare' (My producers told me recently, 'You're such an actor who doubles our money in 25 days'). He said it in a very funny way. My producers are really happy with the kind of subjects that I'm choosing and the kind of return they get. I'm really happy about that. After all, this is a business. We do bring in the creative aspect. But eventually, you have to earn money also and that becomes very important for the final result."

He ended by saying that the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is unreal and nobody had expected that kind of business from the movie. He also credited his whole team for it. "Somebody told me this thing and I want to share in a positive way...that after watching Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 several people said that they didn't miss Bhool Bhulaiyaa. And it's a proud feeling for both the films," Kartik told.

On the film front, Kartik is presently shooting for his forthcoming movie Shehzada. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film is a remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead.

Disha Patani’s thinking similarities with Tiger Shroff!

Tiger inspired me and he is very hardworking and despite being so talented, he wakes up on time and daily does his training, no matter what. Now, Tara Sutaria has made her singing debut. Recently, Ek Villain Returns makers have dropped a new track, Shaamat which is crooned by none other than Tara. The beautiful actress, who will be seen essaying a key role in the thriller, also has turned singer for the song Shaamat in Ek Villain Returns. Tara's singing debut and the song both received lots of admiration from the admirers and the actress took a moment to thank her loved ones for showering love on her first-ever recorded song.

Tara posted some pics from the music video and wrote a heartfelt caption as well. It read, "Thank you all for giving so much love to #Shaamat!!! It was the first song I ever recorded for the film and the first song we filmed too... Firsts are always special..." As soon as she made the post, her fans rushed to congratulate her and sent best wishes as well.

Crooned by Tara and Ankit Tiwari, Shaamat is a rock anthem that will certainly compel you to shake a leg. The music is composed by Ankit and lyrics have been penned by Prince Dubey.

Mallika Sherawat to reveal about facing judgement from audience!

Mallika Sherawat started her Bollywood career as a leading lady in the 2003 movie Khwaish. Later, she rose to fame with Mahesh Bhatt's 2004 romantic thriller Murder, co-starring Emraan Hashmi. The actress has also featured in films like The Myth, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Welcome, Ugly Aur Pagli and Hisss. In a latest media chat, Mallika opened up about facing judgments from the people and opened up about the reason she chose to take a break and move to LA.

Furthermore, Mallika revealed, "I felt so many judgments on me in India, I just wanted a break from it. They were burning my effigies. Some tried to shoot me saying she is spoiling Indian culture. I was feeling so attacked. I was an easy target because I had no support in Bollywood. Nobody would mess like that with a superstar’s daughter or son. Mahesh Bhatt once told me, 'You keep on falling and crying, so some people in Bollywood enjoy that' and this is what I experienced."

Furthermore, she said that she thought that she has many enough money and has also gained popularity in Bollywood, so she wanted to experience a different culture. "I packed my bags and off I went to LA and Jackie Chan said, 'don’t worry, you just land there in LA and you’ll get the red-carpet treatment’, and I did. He organised everything for me, and I met some fantastic people there," Mallika Sherawat revealed.

"If you are not associated with any camp in Bollywood, if you do not have any famous boyfriend in Bollywood, or if you do not have a godfather, then your chances are greatly reduced. I don't want to focus on negativity and fight it," she further revealed.

On the film front, Mallika will star next in RK/RKay, co-starring Rajat Kapoor, Kubbra Sait, and Ranvir Shorey.

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam made her debut role in the 2012 movie, Vicky Donor after which, she has given remarkable performances with Bala, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Badlapur, Kaabil, Ginny Weds Sunny and much more. The actress was last seen in Dasvi and A Thursday and received an extraordinary response. Recently, Yami has posted her thoughts on the North vs South cinema debate and said that she does not see a divide.

In a media chat, the actress revealed that as an actor and creative person, she can never think like that as the first film of her career was a Kannada film and her second film was a Telugu film, after which Vicky Donor happened. "I never took it like that. The only difference, for me, I would say, was language and nothing else. We are all a part of the Indian cinema. Yes, these are difficult times for Hindi cinema. And as I said, that's why this change is really important to give the audience something new. New and better stories, some better visuals - something will have to change from the structure that we have been seeing for the last couple of years. We have to respect the audience and evolve," Yami revealed.

On the film front, Yami will feature next in OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2 and Dhoom Dham.

Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat is all set to return to the big screens with her forthcoming movie Rk/RKay. Earlier, she made her Bollywood debut 2003 movie Khwaish. Later, she rose to fame with Anurag Basu’s 2004 romantic thriller Murder, co-starring Emraan Hashmi. The movie went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year due to its steamy scenes between Mallika and Emraan Hashmi.

In a latest media chat, she opened up about how she was judged for doing bold scenes in her movies. She said that even though women were vicious to her for some reason, Indian men always loved her. In a media chat, Mallika opened up about how she was judged by people in India for doing ‘bold scenes’. She revealed, “I think my glamour was overwhelming for them. I am unapologetic about it. I wore a bikini in murder and actresses have worn bikini before me also but I was so nonchalant about it. I was like I have a great body. Do you want me to wear a saree at the beach? No, I will wear a bikini and I celebrated my body because for me that was very liberating for me. But that was too much to handle for people, especially women. Men have had no problems with me. Men love me in India and I love them back. It's just some women who are so vicious to me. I don't know why because I love sisterhood. I love to support money.”

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the successful star kids in Bollywood. He has been a part of some of the hit movies like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Barfi, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Rajneeti and Sanju. He is going to be back on the silver screens after more than 4 years with Shamshera.

It was a natural progression for me after 15 years and 17 films, I’ve done the coming of age, I have come off age, I am done being the Harry Potter of Hindi cinema. So, I was waiting for the right opportunity, not that the offers have not come my way, but I was looking for the right opportunity, right director and the combination is very important. So it was all on paper, and I’d be a fool to not do it.” It is a challenging role for Ranbir and in a latest chat, he went on to say that Shamshera has been his toughest film till date.
