Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one
of the hottest and most adored couples in Bollywood. The twosome was lately
spotted spending some quality time with each other on Ranveer's birthday.
But, if reports are to be believed that the two have called
it a quit due to their hectic work schedule.
A famous daily quoted a source saying that this time the duo
has broken up permanently and that Ranveer has started dating another girl.
The source further told, "Ranveer and Deepika have been
together for five years. They are no longer a couple. There was no bitter
parting. They just drifted apart. They both tried to make it work with the help
of their supportive families who wanted to ensure that the relationship made it
to the altar. That was one of the problems with the relationship. Ranveer
wanted a marriage. Deepika completely opposed the idea, arguing that marriage
would affect her career at its prime.”
The source further disclosed that despite keeping patience,
the long distance between the two caused problems. “Even when they were
shooting in separate continents, he would fly down to be with her whenever
possible. He gave Deepika lots of space and never allowed any suspicion to
creep in even when rumours of a relationship with Vin Diesel reached his
ears," the source further added.
Ranveer and Deepika will be seen sharing screen space in
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which also stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead
role. The movie is slated to release this November.
