Barkha Sengupta’s NO to work with Shaheer Sheikh for Mughal-E-Azam’s TV remake!

Television is going to witness the TV remake of Bollywood's classic film Mughal-E-Azam. The role of Salim will be essayed by TV's favourite actor, Shaheer Sheikh.

Lately, actress Barkha Sengupta was approached by the makers of the magnum-opus to play the role of Jodha Bai, who was Salim's mother. The actress even gave a look test and was quite kicked about the show, but turned it down later, when she got to know that she will have to play Shaheer Sheikh's mother.

Barkha has previously essayed a mother on-screen, so she does not have a problem in doing that again. She just didn't want to play a mother to a 34-year-old man, when she herself is 38-year-old.

When questioned to comment on the matter, Barkha revealed a tabloid, "I do not want to play a mother to such a big boy because I don't think I would physically look the age and thus, would not be able to justify the character."

Presently, Barkha is a mother of a 6-year-old girl in real.

Dhadak’s Zingaat maintains same energy as in Sairat's song!

The Hindi version of Zingaat from Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Dhadak is released. The song is an adaptation of Marathi movie Sairat's song Zingaat.

The song from Marathi movie Sairat became an instant hit in 2016. The lively and peppy dance number.

Sairat's songs were composed by music directors Ajay-Atul who are also composing the songs for Dhadak.

The Hindi Zingaat is crooned by Ajay-Atul for this Ishaan-Janhvi starrer.

Alia Bhatt’s interest in Varun Dhawan starrer Rannbhoomi?

Earlier, it was pronounced that Varun Dhawan would be reuniting with his Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania director Shashank Khaitan and go for a hat-trick with the film, Rannbhoomi. The project would be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Rannbhoomi is not just an epic saga but indulgences in emotions and opulence equally, as it is a love story at heart and a revenge drama in essence.

While speaking about Rannbhoomi, Varun had told to a daily that Shashank is a filmmaker that the actor has tremendous respect for. As their association has always been successful and magical, they decided to collaborate again and create a mammoth spectacle. The actor also stated that Dharma Productions is home for him and Shashank and hence it was the best team to collaborate with. He concluded by saying that Rannbhoomi is an ambitious film with a beating heart.

Speaking about the leading lady, several names have popped up with the latest one being Alia. Shashank maintains his stance that he is hectic with his forthcoming film, Dhadak starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.

But, as per a daily, Alia is keen on uniting again with Varun and Shashank for the third time, given their success ratio. While Shashank has considered her for the role, he is yet to zero down on the female lead.

Rannbhoomi is scheduled for a Diwali 2020 release.

SRK’s union with Chak De India director Shimit Amin for a film?

Film Chak De! India is considered as Shah Rukh Khan's one of the best acts. Released in 2007, SRK played the role of Indian Women's Hockey team coach Kabir Khan in this Shimit Amin directorial.

As news in a leading daily, SRK and Shimit might unite for another movie soon. The movie is said to be a two-hero project.

A source revealed, "Last year when Chak De! India clocked a decade, Shah Rukh reconnected with Shimit. It was then that the latter discussed a concept he had in mind for Khan. The superstar liked it and asked him to work on it further. When Shah Rukh returned to Mumbai last week after wrapping up Zero's US schedule, the two met again to discuss the progress on the script. Shah Rukh is keen on the project and is likely to produce it as well."

The movie is rumoured to be a period drama. But, the director is yet to confirm the news.

The source further said, "He wants the film to be a departure from his romantic hero image. It will also feature a younger hero as a parallel lead. Though Ayushmann Khurrana is said to be in talks, the final casting call will be taken only after SRK comes on board."

Dabangg 3’s shooting to be start on September 16, 2018!

Superstar Salman Khan is all set to take up the role of Inspector Chulbul Pandey, which is amongst his most favorite characters. Now, Dabangg 3 will be directed by Prabhudheva and is inspired by a real-life cop from Noida.

The film will be shot in the NCR, which will be the first time where the Dabangg franchise is shot in North India. A source disclosed in a leading daily, "The idea is to make Dabangg 3 more realistic and take it a few notches above the previous installments in every possible way. Since the story is based on a real cop, the film’s makers felt that shooting in a North Indian city like Ghaziabad would add to the storytelling. Moreover, the city is being treated like a character in the movie. While the previous films in the franchise have been shot in Wai, shooting in Ghaziabad will also give the third outing a different and fresh look."

Furthermore, once Salman finished shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat till August-end, the actor will begin shooting for Dabangg 3 as the movie goes on floors on September 16, 2018.

As per report, Sonakshi will be reenacting her role as Rajjo. Dabangg 3 may also mark ace filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Ashwami Manjrekar's Bollywood debut.

Dabangg 3 is scheduled for a release towards the end of 2019.

Alia Bhatt to attend Neetu Kapoor's birthday bash with Ranbir in Paris?

After Sanju releases, RK will be in the town for a week. He has informed the team of Sanju and the team of Brahmastra that he would be unavailable post July 5 for a week. Whereas Alia has taken leave from the team of Kalank from July 6 to July 9. Both Alia and Ranbir would be flying out to Paris via Bulgaria together."

A source added further, "Neetu Kapoor was present during Alia Bhatt's birthday celebration on the sets of Brahmastra and they bonded quite well. This time for Neetu's birthday, its not just RK who has invited his ladylove for the celebration. His daddy dearest Rishi Kapoor has extended an invite and there is no way she will decline it. Since Rishi Kapoor has planned the 60th birthday party for his lovely wife, he has personally invited close friends and family."

Film Karwaan trailer with fun, emotions and exciting journey!

Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar starrer Karwaan is released recently.

South superstar Dulquer Salmaan is debuting in Bollywood from this movie.

The promo starts with Dulquer's character named Avinash getting a phone call that his father has passed away in an accident while travelling to a pilgrimage place. He is being told to collect his dad's dead body. But, Avinash is left perplexed as he finds out that only two dead bodies have arrived and none of it is his father's.

He is then informed to go to Kochi to collect his father's dead body. But, he has to carry the other bodies with him too. To travel till Kochi, he takes Irrfan Khan's help who is a driver.

The two go on an interesting adventure and while travelling to Kochi where they meet different people, one of them being Mithila Palkar's character. Things change for the three of them as their journey is full of fun, laughter, thrill and emotional moments.

Karwaan is helmed by Akarsh Khurana. The movie is scheduled to release on August 3, 2018.

Ayushmann-Sanya Malhotra's Badhaai Ho to release has confirmed on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra!

SRK opens up about his 26 years in Bollywood!

Now, Shah Rukh Khan has completed his 26 years in the world of flicks. From past 26 years, the megastar has entertained the viewers in every way and people just can't stop loving him.

As he accomplished 26 years in the industry, SRK took to his Twitter page and shared a heartfelt message. He posted, "Tomorrow will be exactly half a lifetime of being ‘others’. I would love to do her biopic, says Karishma Tanna on Madhuri Dixit!

Bollywood’s leggy lass Karishma Tanna is presently at the peak of her career. She is rumoured to be playing the role of Madhuri Dixit in Sanju, a movie based on the life of megastar Sanjay Dutt. The rumours about her character started doing the rounds even before the movie dropped its first teaser.

But, Karishma Tanna could neither be seen in the teaser, nor in the trailer of the movie. She has also not participated in any of the promotional events for the movie, unlike her other co-stars. When questioned about her part in the movie, the actor stayed tight-lipped. While speaking to a daily, she just told, "All I can say is that it’s a very important role but I really can’t talk about it."

Avoiding the question about whether she is playing Madhuri Dixit in the flick, Karishma revealed that she would love to play the dhak dhak girl if ever her biopic is made. She told, "Madhuri ma’am is a great star and I would love to do her biopic. It’s magical to see her perform, especially when she dances. I also have the same passion towards dance and I think it would be a dream come true moment for me.”
