Kriti Sanon talks about gaining weight for Mimi!

About gaining weight for Mimi, Kriti Sanon agrees it is not a healthy thing to do but adds that she wanted to take an extra step for the character as she felt that there is something for her in it.

"Obviously, it's not a very healthy thing to do too often so you have to make sure...I wouldn't do this again and again for a character...I told myself I won't do this again but I think when you get a character which gives you so much to do as an actor then you end up giving yourself a lot back," Kriti revealed in a media chat.

She further added, "I always knew that this is something that has a lot for me in it so I think I was kind of willing to go that extra mile and it made a huge difference on screen. So, that makes all the impact. Bodily, it's not a very healthy thing to do, especially because I have put on weight like in two, two and half months."

The actress further said her weight gain and loss journey was very natural. "I got my time to lose it...I did it all very naturally...but yes, as an actor you have to take care of your body and make sure you're not making it go through these changes too often," Kriti told. 'Mimi' also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa.

 

Meezaan clears the air about his link-up rumours with Navya Naveli Nanda!

As we all know that Javed Jaffrey’s son and actor Meezaan has been in news for a while now owing to his link-

up rumours with Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. Lately, Meezaan talked about whether his equation with Navya Naveli Nanda was affected by the link-up rumours or not. Meezaan has always denied being in a relationship with Navya and has always stated that he’s single.

Now, in a media chat with a famous radio host, Meezan revealed that he is not seeing anyone at the moment. He further revealed that the link-up rumours don’t affect his equation with Navya and in fact she understands everything, as she comes from a film family herself. Calling her mature, Meezaan tells “she does not let these things affect our friendship”. 

On the film front, Meezaan was recently seen in Priyadarshan’s comedy Hungama 2 alongside Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal.

The south megastar Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur will be seen sharing the screen space in director Hanu Raghavapudi's forthcoming untitled movie. Dulquer will be seen as Lieutenant Ram in the movie while Mrunal Thakur plays Sita.

On the occasion of Mrunal's birthday on August 1, the makers unveiled the first look of the actress as Sita. Recently, in a latest media chat, the Heropanti star she opened up on the pay disparity between actors and actresses. The Luka Chuppi actress believes that the patriarchal mindset is so normal that it will take a little time to alter and grow.

Kriti Sanon revealed, “Yeah, when I do pulling the audience specially when the festival revolves more around my character, its on me, there will be more and more producers, who would feel the confidence of banking the film on me. I feel like its a circle, it kind of will even get that pay disparity. That's how you grow I feel, in life. The only thing that I had pointed out which happens is when a male and a female actor have a similar kind of role, I feel like men don't have to prove by having the film solely on them, to grow and to increase their price and somewhere females, sometimes have to prove it more by such kind of films, which is what I felt is a very weird difference. But I think we're slowly growing and things are changing”.

The Luka Chuppi star further clarified that the patriarchal mindset is so normal that it will take a little time to change and to grow. In a media chat, Kriti was pointed out that the actresses like Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Anushka Sharma have fought for pay disparity and getting women-centric roles.

Janhvi Kapoor’s future dream wedding!

Bollywood’s newbie Janhvi Kapoor in a latest media chat revealed about how she would like her dream wedding to be. The Dhadak star spoke about the fact that she wants a simple wedding. While chatting, Janhvi stated that she would like to have her bachelorette party in Capri in Southern Italy on a yacht. Talking about the wedding ceremony, she revealed the tabloid that she would prefer the wedding at Tirupati.
