The Bobby star Rishi Kapoor’s sad demise at 67 in Mumbai hospital!

After untimely demise of acting maestro Irrfan Khan, now another versatile star Rishi Kapoor passed away at 67 at a hospital in Mumbai on Thursday, dated 30 April 2020.

The timeless star Rishi Kapoor was admitted to the hospital a day back after his elder brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed to a media daily that he was having breathing issue. He was admitted to Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaon Mumbai. Randhir Kapoor also had disclosed that Rishi Kapoor was unable to talk.

On the ill-fated demise of the Bobby star, megastar Amitabh took to his twitter handle and expressed immense grief and sense of loss over the untimely demise of his dear friend. Recently, superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted to confirm, “T 3517 - He's GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”

As per media reports, earlier in September 2018, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh took off to New York and the veteran actor underwent treatment for cancer close to a year. For a long time, the evergreen star had kept his cancer battle a top-secret. Ranbir and Riddhima made regular trips to the USA to meet the ailing father.

After he recuperated, he came back to India in 2019. Rishi Kapoor’s health worsened a while ago when he was also admitted to the hospital back in New Delhi. Back then, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also travelled to meet him in New Delhi. As per media updates, Veteran Rishi Kapoor had been shooting for ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ in the capital when he fell ill earlier this year and was later shifted to a hospital in Mumbai. Reports suggest that the actor was battling cancer relapse.

Bollywood evergreen heartthrob Rishi Kapoor, is the second son of legend Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, He was Raj Kapoor's third born, after Randhir and later Ritu Nanda, he was older to Reema Jain and Rajeev Kapoor.

Bollywood’s “Chintu” was last seen in film ‘The Body’ with Emraan Hashmi, Shobhita Dhulipala, and Vedhika. Rishi Kapoor was all set to star in Deepika Padukone co-starrer the remake of Hollywood movie, The Intern. It was an official adaptation of a Hollywood movie.

About his career in film industry, Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor had his first lead role as an adult in 1973 with ‘Bobby’ opposite Dimple Kapadia. He also received the Filmfare Best Actor Award in 1974 for the same.

Rishi Kapoor, who married actress Neetu Singh, has two children - actor Ranbir Kapoor and designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahani.

Bollywood mourn over Irrfan Khan’s untimely demise!

The legendary star Irrfan’s death has left the whole nation in the state of shock. Irrfan Khan, who was 53 years old, passed away on Wednesday dated 29^th April 2020 in Mumbai. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was under observation for colon infection. Earlier, He was battling neuroendocrine cancer for two years and was accompanied by his loved one during his last moments.

The news of Irrfan’s ill-timed demise has ripped everybody apart and the celebs, including Irrfan’s co-stars and several biggies, have inundated the social media with their condolences for the legendary actor.

On Irrfan’s sad demise, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ram Charan, Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Divya Dutta, A R Rahman, Sidharth Malhotra, Bhumi Pednekar, Raveena Tandon, Shruti Haasan, Rakul Preet Singh, Nitish Bharadwaj, Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan were among the many stars who took to social media and recalled the actor. They offered their heartfelt condolences to the Irrfan’s family and paid tribute to late Irrfan Khan.

Superstar Salman Khan offered his tribute to Irrfan with a heartfelt note on social media. Salman took to social media and shared a happy photograph of him bumping into Irrfan on a red carpet event. In the photograph, both Salman and Irrfan can be seen smiling away as they bump into each other and greet one another. Salman posted, “Big loss to the film industry, his fans, all of us n specially his family. My heart goes out to his family. May God give them strength. Rest in peace brother u shall always be missed n be in all our hearts...”

Deepika Padukone paid her tribute towards the actor on social media. Without stating a word, Deepika painted Instagram black with a blank post and the hashtag, "#irrfankhan" and a heartbreak emoji.

South star Ram Charan took to social media and tweeted, “The world of cinema has lost a crowned jewel. One of the most exceptional actors and the film industry will definitely miss the legend. May your soul rest in peace, Irrfan Khan ji.”

Well-known actor-politician Kamal Haasan tweeted, “Too soon to leave @irrfank Ji. Your work always left me in awe. You’re one of the finest actors I know, I wish you stayed longer. You deserved more time. Strength to the family at this time.”

Shahid Kapoor tweeted, “It’s so sad to hear about #IrfanKhan passing away. I have learned so much from him as an actor just by sharing screen space with him. A truly gifted actor. And a wonderful man. He really has #GoneTooSoon I’m sure the heavens have saved a special place for him,”.

Shraddha Kapoor shared a still from Haider featuring herself and Irrfan and specified that she has been honoured to share the screen space with the star. She called him “a magician on the big screen; inspiring & igniting people’s hearts” and highlighted that she will always be his fan and will cherish her moments with Irrfan.

His Haider’s co-star Kay Kay Menon also shared a photograph of Irrfan with his quote which read “I want to entertain people but with some substance.” He captioned the image as “You did Brother! You did!! And so SPLENDIDLY!! RIP #irrfankhan Shocked & grieved for words!! Om Shanti!”

TV celeb Nitish Bharadwaj stated, "A. You lose a friend. B. You lose a damn good actor as a director. It was a joy directing him in Geeta Rahasya. I used to tell Irrfan that I don't want a line here. I just want you to express, I just want your simple emotion, your reaction. He used to come out with brilliant reactions." "It's a sad loss for the world cinema. He was not restricted to Indian cinema. He should have done much more work, even abroad," he further added.

Alia Bhatt has also paid her condolence for Irrfan by sharing a monochrome photo of the Piku star on Instagram. She captioned the image with a heart emoticon which spoke volumes about how saddened she is with Irrfan’s demise.

Later, her mother Soni Razdan also remembered Irrfan and she wrote, “So terribly sad today” followed by broken heart emoticons.

The legendary star Irrfan Khan’s untimely demise at 53 in Mumbai hospital!

Celebrated International star Irrfan Khan succumbed to his illness on Wednesday and passed away at 53. He breathed his last on 29 April 2020 at the age of 53. Irrfan was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where was under observation for colon infection. Recently, Irrfan Khan's mother Saeeda Begum died at the age of 95 on Saturday morning in Jaipur.

Irrfan's official spokesperson posted, "I trust, I have surrendered"; These were some of the many words that Irrfan expressed in a heartfelt note he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen."

"It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him."After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with the news of rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought the many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heavenly abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he had said, “As if I was tasting life for the first time, the magical side of it,” the statement continued.

Initially, the news of Irrfan's death was first posted on Twitter by film Piku director Shoojit Sircar. “My dear friend Irfaan. You fought and fought and fought. I will always be proud of you.. we shall meet again... condolences to Sutapa and Babil.. you too fought, Sutapa you gave everything possible in this fight. Peace and Om shanti. Irfaan Khan salute,” he posted. 

           

As we all know that versatile celeb Irrfan Khan will always be remembered for his remarkable performances on the celluloid. Irrfan's last film, Angrezi Medium, was his come back to the silver screen after battling neuroendocrine tumour.

Celebrated Irrfan Khan was fully active in Bollywood as we as Hollywood. Irrfan's work in Hollywood movies like Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man and Life of Pi is notable and praiseworthy. His other remarkable movies include the Academy Award nominated Salaam Bombay!, Maqbool (2004), Paan Singh Tomar (2011), The Lunchbox (2013), Piku (2015) and Hindi Medium (2017) among numerous others.

He is survived by wife Sutapa Sikdar and sons Babil and Ayan. The news of his death has left the whole Hindi film industry in mourning.

Renowned singer Kanika Kapoor has been in the news for the longest time now due to testing COVID 19 positive. The Baby Doll singer who had tested positive for COVID 19 not just once, but on numerous occasions, 4 times to be precise, but, was finally tested negative. As per reports, Kanika who was at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow while fighting against COVID -19 finally came back home on April 6th and is under quarantine at her home in Lucknow.

Kriti Sanon reveals about nepotism as once replaced by star kid!

In a latest media chat with a portal, Kriti Sanon opened up about her journey and experiences. She reveals, "I'm very ambitious and I know that I have the potential to do a lot more. I want to work with certain A-list directors. So I have got great opportunities but if I compare, there are a few more which I really want and I'd love to have. The difference is still there. I don't mind reaching out to directors. If I had been from a film family, I would not have to reach out. They would already know me, and I would have interacted with them somewhere. But after a while, only your work speaks. It probably takes way longer or more number of hit films and performances to sort of get there."

On asking about replacing her by any star kid, Kriti replies, "I don't know if they dialled the phone or not, but someone who was from a film family, or there was a little more buzz about that person, had replaced me. So yes, it's happened but I don't know the reason behind it. The director might have genuinely wanted that person. It has happened a few times."

The beautiful star Bhumi Pednekar will share health and nutrition tips to tackle emotional eating amid the lockdown.

Recently, The Baahubali star Prabhas disclosed the reason for not doing a movie with Samantha Akkineni. He reveals that he and the Oh Baby actress Samantha have height issues.

According the newest media reports, Prabhas goes on to add that due to the difference in both their heights, he did not star in a movie along with Samantha. Prabhas is 1.83 m tall and Samantha is 1.58 m in height. Now, the fans and film viewers were taken by surprise when Prabhas specified that the height issue was the reason for not pairing up with the gorgeous Samantha Akkineni.

Kanika Kapoor sets the record straight that she returned from the UK to Mumbai on 10th March and was screened at the airport as per the regulations. She further reveals that the UK advisory which was released on March 18 was not in place when she returned to Mumbai, and hence she did not quarantine herself, and also that she had no health issues. Kanika goes on to add that she went to visit her parents in Lucknow on March 11, and at the airport, there was a screening set up done for domestic flights. She tells that on 14th and 15th March she was at a friend's lunch and dinner. Kanika also says that she started showing symptoms of COVID-19 on 17 and 18 March and wanted to get tested instantaneously.

On March 19th, the singer got tested for Coronavirus and then on the 20th, she got her results as positive for the COVID-19. Singer Kanika tells that she got admitted to the hospital and after three negative tests she was discharged. Kanika discloses that at the current time she is at home for 21 days now. Kanika also states that negativity thrown at a person cannot change the reality in any way.

Sourabh Raj Jain reveals about transformation for playing Lord Krishna in Mahabharat!

The show Mahabharat starred various young and talented stars like Sourabh Raj Jain, Shaheer Sheikh, Pooja Sharma, Aham Sharma, Arav Chowdhary, and Arpit Ranka. The re-run of the show Mahabharat has left not only the viewers but also the cast overjoyed.

 Sourabh Raj Jain recalled about his preparations for the role, how he transformed himself to essay the character of Lord Krishna, and the habits that he developed to play the role to perfection. He revealed that the biggest gain of being an actor is that you can step into numerous characters. But, the role of Lord Krishna has been the most special for him in his career.

About the Krishna’s makeup, Sourabh disclosed that it took him 30 to 54 minutes to get into the avatar of Lord Krishna, and he would remain in the same costume throughout the day. Much to his surprise, most of the time was gone in doing the teeka, as it has to be absolutely perfect because of the importance it holds. He added that that the mukut he wore was really important to him. Though he removed it during the break, he would make sure that it is kept in a safe place. He told, 'For me, the mukut was the symbol of divinity and I was very attached to it.'

He also disclosed the habits that he specially inculcated to get into the skin of the role and deliver it with perfection. He revealed that while he was shooting for the show, he would begin listening to Hanuman Chalisa as soon as he entered the makeup room. Post makeup was done, he would switch to some Sufi songs, mostly of Abida Ji. He said that following these rituals gave him a lot of peace. The actor uses to pray before every scene and recite the lines, 'Jo Kachu Kinha Tu Kinha main Katchu Kihna Naahin.' (Meaning - whatever is being done is your doing, not mine.)

Amid lockdown, Arjun Rampal has disclosed that he is stuck in Karjat city with his girlfriend Gabrielle Demetriades and their son Arik. As per media buzz, Arjun was shooting in the city when the lockdown was pronounced. And however the condition in Mumbai has been worsening, Arjun decided to stay back in Karjat.

Speaking about the staying in Karjat, Arjun revealed to a daily that this decision was taken considering the safety of his nine-month old son. But, he fells this incident will certainly be a story to tell Arik after the little munchkin grows up. “We decided to stay back for my son’s safety. While he is too young now, this will be a story to tell him when he grows older. Besides, Mumbai is just a few hours away, and hence, easily accessible in case of an emergency,” the he was quoted saying.

About the stay in Karjat, Arjun stated, “Since there are no cases here, we are secure. We have an open space and [are enjoying] being amid nature instead of confined to an apartment.”

Ajay Devgn starrer Raid’s sequel on the card?

After the success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Ajay Devgn is all set to unite with T-Series' Bhushan Kumar in Bhuj: The Pride Of India which is directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. But before the duo collaborated for Bhuj, they were planning on making a sequel to the 2018 hit movie Raid.

As per a report in a daily, that the makers are all set for the sequel of Raid and this will also be based on a true story. As per a media source the franchise seeks to bring into the public eye heroes who work closely with intelligence agencies to track white-collar crimes. To this day, nobody knows the identity of the officer on whom Ajay’s Amay was modeled. Raid 2 will also be a tribute to men who don’t wear the uniform.

Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed telling the sequel will be a huge multi-film franchise and he and Ajay along with Kumar Mangat are looking to take Raid forward. The script of Part 2 is being developed. Since the original was a much-loved movie, the sequel is a huge responsibility.
