Bollywood alleged couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra has finally come to an end. Recently, director Ayan Mukerji announced movie wrap after finishing the three-day Varanasi schedule. Sharing a pic with the lead actors, a pleased Ayan disclosed that the movie's shoot has finally come to an end after five long years.

He shared, "And finally… It’s a Wrap! 5 years since we took our first shot on Brahmāstra, and we’ve finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging, once-in-a-lifetime journey!!! Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of ‘Part One: Shiva’ in Varanasi - a city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in an atmosphere of purity, joy and blessings! Exciting days ahead, last lap ahead! 09.09.2022 - Here we come!"

Declaring the wrap, Ayan also shared some special pics. An thrilled Alia also shared a video announcing the movie's wrap as she wrote, "We started shooting in 2018. And now … finally .. The filming of Brahmastra (Part One) comes to an end ! I’ve been wanting to say this for such a long time..ITS A WRAP!!!!!!!!"

Besides Alia and Ranbir, the movie also stars veteran Amitabh Bachchan, South mega star Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and even Shah Rukh Khan in a reported cameo role.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is an adoring father to his son Abhishek Bachchan and he is often seen having his back. As per media updates, Akshay Kumar will be seen essaying the lead in the Hindi adaptation of Suriya’s 2020 release Soorarai Pottru and it will be directed by Sudha Kongara who had directed Soorarai Pottru.

As fans are still waiting for an official pronouncement in this regard, as per a latest report, Radhika Madan has been roped in to essay the female lead of Soorarai Pottru remake. She will seemingly be stepping into Aparna Balamuralia’s shoes for the film. Speaking about it, a source revealed to a daily, “The film is in pre-production stage, with the director having reportedly set the adaptation in western India. In all likelihood, Radhika will play a woman from rural Maharashtra. She will have to learn a specific dialect before the film goes on floors”.

And today, I'm here to launch the trailer of Runway 34. There are two things I want to say, this film is based on true stories. And the second secret is, this film is directed by Ajay sir. He is a captain in the film and the captain of the film too. He always wanted to be a director and not an actor. He is technical, one of the most sound persons in the industry. Tanhaji had certain visuals and this has another kind of visuals. I am sure, the audience will like this too."

"This may come as a surprise, but since the time I have known Ajay, he has always wanted to be a director. His technical knowledge as a director is unparalleled and you will get to see that in Runway 34 where he has shot with 10-13 cameras in a cockpit. Shooting with heavy equipment in such a confined space is not an easy task," he further revealed.

"In addition to acting and direction, Ajay is the producer of the film as well. And let me tell you, he is one producer, who goes all out if he believes in the script. Zoya Akhtar to mourn ill-fated demise of 'Gully Boy' rapper MC Tod Fod!

The Gully Boy rapper MC Tod Fod aka Dharmesh Parmar passed away at the age of 24. He was one of the soundtrack artists on Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s 2019 movie Gully Boy. The cause of his death is still not known. Dharmesh was connected with the Mumbai-based hip-hop collective called 'Swadesi'. As soon as the news of his demise surfaced, Zoya Akhtar took to her social media handle and mourned the gifted rapper’s unfortunate demise.

The director of Gully Boy, Zoya posted his pic on social media handle and wrote, “You have gone way too soon. I can only be grateful our paths crossed. Rest in peace Bantai #mctodfod @todfod”

Bollywood hunk John Abraham starrer Attack’s second trailer has been a complete entertainment package, like the first trailer. For the information, the film will clash with SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ which features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt in important roles. During the trailer launch event, John talked about ‘Attack’ clashing with ‘RRR’.

Talking on the screens being divided between RRR and Attack, John Abraham revealed, “We are not number 2 to anyone. We have a lot of respect for Rajamouli Sir but we have equal respect for our work.” During the event, he also opened up on working on the second installment of Attack. He said, “We intend to make a part 2. We have got a script ready. You can only decide to make a part 2 when the studio part is on board. So, we signed on for Attack 2 with Jayanti Bhai even before the release of Attack. I can’t comment on the commercial success of Attack, as am no trade expert, but I can say that we have made a very good film.”

Beside John Abraham, Attack also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Prakash Raj, and Ratna Pathak Shah in the lead. Attack is scheduled to release on April 1, 2022.

The brief 1-minute teaser show the actress stepping out on to the field amid a roaring sound of the viewers in a stadium. Called as the most consistent player in women's cricket, Mithali's story is all things insipirational.

After the success of movies Super 30 and Toofaan, Mrunal Thakur has now started shooting for Pippa. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the film also stars Ishaan Khatter and Priyanshuu Painyuli in the lead.

For the information, the war movie is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who along with his siblings, had fought heroically on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.

While Mrunal is quite thrilled to be a part of the project, she lately opened up on her role in Pippa and disclosed that she will be seen essaying the role of a younger sibling to Ishaan and Priyanshu in the film. Ranveer Singh’s interesting disclosure on playing badminton with wifey Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is a big sports enthusiast. Fascinatingly, his wifey Deepika Padukone has also been active in sports and has played badminton at national levels before entering into Bollywood. Thus, when Ranveer was lately questioned about having a badminton competition with Deepika, the actor was all admirations for the actress and confessed that she does give him a tough time during the game.

During his latest media chat with a daily, The Gunday actor that he has never won a game against Deepika. “We started dating in 2012. It's been 10 years and I am yet to beat her. And it's not for lack of trying. I am running around sweating,” he further added. He also revealed that while his game has improved over the years, he is still unable to beat Deepika. For the information, Deepika has got her skills from daddy Prakash Padukone who has been one of the greatest badminton players in India.

On the film front, Ranveer Singh is looking forward to the release of YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar opposite Shalini Pandey.
