Sony SAB’s TV show Chidiyaghar which lately took a leap of 8
years is already engaging the viewers with its new entries. The story has been
fast forwarded to 8 years and everything in Chidiyaghar household has transformed.
The show which has been running fruitfully for 5 years has seen lots of
challenges even before, but everybody has worked together to solve those
problems. As the years passed the characters grew older and now we will see how
there are more differences between more members of the family but they still
stay in the same place together and try to cope with the present new-age
situations.
Sumit Arora essaying the character of Gomukh told, “We
didn’t realize how 8 years passed as there are lots of changes in the family.
There are certain issues within the family members as they now prioritize
themselves above others. Even the kids are grown up. As parents we have become
more protective about our kids but they have become modern. The problems are still
the same but people inside Chidiyaghar have moved on to become self-centered.”
Saaransh Verma a.k.a Kappi adds, “I have become more
responsible in this 8 years. Previously, I just had to look after my wife and
now I have two beautiful and naughty kids to take care of. As there are grudges
within the family, we now have to manage our own expenses. Hence, I started
contributing in the family. Though there are a lot of changes with us but what
remains constant is Babuji’s lesson and the values that he had taught us.”
