Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi's couple Gautam and Smriti to get engaged in a private ceremony!



Here is some good news for the admirers of Meri Aashiqui Ab Tumse Hi's Gautam Gupta and Smriti Khanna. The two who fell in love on the sets of the show have now decided to wed. After Kavita Kaushik, Shirrena Sambyal and Navina Bole, they will be the next couple to take the nuptial.

Gautam and Smriti are head over heels in love with one another and lately, the two got engaged formally in a private ceremony that was attended by close friends and family members. Smriti herself shared this happy news with all her admirers on Instagram. She looked stunning in an orange traditional outfit while Gautam looked handsome in white. Previously last month, Smriti flaunted the ring given by Gautam while popping the beautiful question. She captioned it as, “I am yours and you are mine. From today, till the end of time!! #itsofficial.”

Seemingly Gautam proposed to Smriti during their visit to Goa lately for Gautam's birthday. And she told a YES. Speaking about her engagement Smriti said to an online portal, “We are here in Goa to celebrate Gautam’s birthday (which was yesterday, 13 April), and he just swept me off my feet with this lovely surprise. We started dating after Meri Aashiqui got over and I think it's magical how we connected and found love. Our families are really excited and it is an amazing feeling.”


The romantic saga, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi that captured the viewers with their storyline and charming Ishaani and Ranveer went off air last year post failing to garner good TRP's. Regardless the fluctuations in its TRP ratings, Ranveer and Ishaani played by Shakti Arora and Radhika Madaan are one of the most favourite and adored reel couples in TV world.
