Murmurs about Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor's alleged
affair refuse to die down. Rumours about the two actors being more than just
friends emerged when they were shooting for Rock On 2 last year. And though the
actors have time and again repudiated the rumours, photos and videos of the two
from parties have a different story to tell.
Now, if a report in a famous tabloid is to be believed, then
Farah Akhtar is keen on casting his rumored ladylove Shraddha Kapoor in his
next production, Gold. The film is directed by Reea Kagti and stars Akshay
Kumar in the lead.
The movie is a biopic based on the life of athlete Balbir
Singh, who won the first ever gold medal at Olympics post the Independence.
Akshay Kumar had pronounced his association with the movie
and also disclosed the first poster of it on social media few months back. But,
the leading lady is yet to be pronounced. Given that Farhan is producing the film
with Ritesh Sidhwani, rumours are rife that he has been recommending Shraddha's
name!
This is not the first time that a report has come out which
suggests Farhan's involvement in Shraddha's career. In the past too, media has
been abuzz with the news that Akhtar has been trying to boost his so-called
girlfriend's career.
