The media are abuzz with the rumours that Deepika
Padukone is being considered for Dinesh Vijan's Badlapur sequel. In the previous
part, Varun Dhawan essayed the lead role in the film. Dhawan essayed
the role of Raghu, a killing machine out to seek revenge from his wife's
murderers.
Now, if news are to be believed, Deepika is all set to step
into Varun Dhawan's shoes. Deepika is also likely do the same kind of role as
Varun did. A source verified a famous tabloid, "A sequel to Badlapur, with
a female protagonist and a completely new cast, is being planned. Dinesh has
bounced the idea off to Deepika and she has loved it. It’s a character-driven
role, just like Varun’s was in Badlapur. The script isn’t ready yet and once
that’s done, the producer will give the actress a full narration and get her
dates blocked for the film."
Deepika Padukone will be featured in Dinesh Vijan's Raabta's
title track. Deepika is seen wearing a gorgeous black dress with cutwork and
embellishments. She compliments it with her thick wavy hair and heavily kohled
eyes.
Dinesh, who makes his directorial debut with Raabta, earlier
old, "Deepika Padukone is very lucky for me. I asked her, if she could do
a song for me. She came down to Budapest and we shot it."
Dinesh has produced Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail and Finding
Fanny, where Deepika essayed lead roles.
