Rubina Dilaik’s thankful message for fans on the 1st anniversary of Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki!

TV actress Rubina Dilaik, through her show Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki in which she essays a transgender, is trying to change stereotypes. The show has completed one year yesterday (May 29) and Rubina is thankful to the team and fans for this remarkable journey.

She uploaded a video and posted, "Thank you all for making this journey unforgettable! Grateful @colorstv @msrashmi2002_ !!! Yay #shakti completes one year." Talking about the show, in an earlier interview, she said, "It’s a big compliment because TV for the longest time was ruled by saas bahu sagas and love stories, and then came our show, which is totally out of the league."

She further added, "I'm feeling blessed. Because such kind of roles are likely not be accepted. It is a high risk character. As far as the award is concerned, I owe my stardom to my fans. One fan matters to me more than any award. Awards makes you happy, but acknowledgment from fans is even more important, and I'm lucky to have got that."

The actor also made headlines for her relationship with beau Abhinav Shukla. Are they planning to get wedded anytime soon? Then, the answer is NO. In an interview, she told, "We are not planning to tie the knot anytime soon. We are enjoying the journey. We are travellers at heart. We believe in the beauty of journey and not the destination. Every day that we spend together, we just have that longing to see each other, to create something together. We live absolutely in present. It is the idea of walking together that fascinates us."
