Anil Kapoor, who is presently preparing for the second season
of his TV show 24, in which he essays the role of a tough counter-terrorism
operative named Jai Singh Rathod, is rather keen to take his character to
Bollywood.
Kapoor admitted that he is quite keen on making a movie
based on the series, but that he cannot do it as of now as he doesn't have the
legal rights to do so. Kapoor but added that he is hopeful about convincing the
makers of the original '24' show to let him make a movie on the series. The
original '24' stars Keifer Sutherland, who plays agent Jack Bauer.
Anil, who was last seen playing Majnu Bhai in 'Welcome Back,
is also remaking Prison Break and Modern Family for the Indian audience.
