Rumors are widespread that Dum Laga Ke Haisha actor Bhumi
Pednekar is a frontrunner to bag a role in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's
next, Gustakhiyaan.
Seemingly, Bhumi, who is presently working on Manmarziyan,
has met Bhansali's team regarding the project. But, there is no official
announcement from the makers of the movie, which is reportedly based on the
life of writer-poet Amrita Pritam.
Previously, SLB had approached Bollywood's leading actresses
Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan for the role, but
none of them accepted it. In the meantime, the makers are considering actor
Irrfan Khan and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan for the male lead.
