During the third wave of COVID 19, a new COVID 19’s variant Omicron is taking over the country and the cases continue to rise all across various states. The government is implementing restrictions to curb the widespread of COVID 19. Beside commoners, numerous celebs have also been diagnosed with the lethal virus. Recently, Bollywood star Fardeen Khan had fallen prey to the virus. The Jungle actor is currently in isolation.

The Khushi actor had confirmed the news on micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote that he is asymptomatic. Also, the actor also send recovery wishes to everyone who has been battling the deadly virus and urged everyone to stay safe amid the pandemic. “Tested positive for C-19. Fortunately, I am asymptomatic. Sending my best to all those in recovery. The rest, keep getting tested if in doubt as this variant is also targeting children, down to toddlers, and they can be given very limited medication. Happy isolating,” Fardeen posted.

Also, celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Mrunal Thakur, Madhur Bhandarkar, Mithila Palkar and Lata Mangeshkar had tested positive for COVID 19.

Shahid Kapoor reveals his feelings about Jersey with dad!

Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Jersey with father Pankaj Kapur. While the shooting of the movie is yet to be completed and has been delayed due to the Coronavirus lockdown, Shahid and Pankaj Kapur have shot for portions of the movie together. While Pankaj Kapur has been all admirations for his son’s last act in Kabir Singh.

In a latest Ask Me session, a fan questioned Shahid about his experience of working with dad Pankaj Kapur in Jersey. About this question, Shahid replied to the fan and wrote, “I still get nervous sharing the frame with him.”

The shoot of Jersey is still pending and as soon as the lockdown gets over, it will begin. The movie also stars Mrunal Thakur and is produced by Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and Aman Gill. It is scheduled to release on August 28, 2020.

Beside the shooting of Coolie No.1, Varun Dhawan is also preparing for his forthcoming dance drama Street Dancer 3D. The movie stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Prabhudeva. Directed by Remo D'Souza, Street Dancer tells the dance journey of a bunch of determined dancers and is scheduled to hit the screens on January 24, 2020.

Now the producer Vikram Malhtotra is in the process of acquiring the rights to the horror thriller Bhaagamathie. The original movie centred on an IAS officer who is being interrogated in a haunted house before things take a dark turn when she’s possessed by a spirit. Vikram is already in talks with Bhumi Pednekar to play the central character, while R Madhavan might come aboard as the movie’s antagonist. That would be quite a tagda matchup, don’t you think?

As per reports, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan will be seen together in the public and media for the promotions of their movie, Aaj Kal.

As per media sources that both Sara and Kartik will be promoting the movie together as they have no bitterness from their break up. The makers of the sequel to Love Aaj Kal are planning to kick off promotions of the same and Sara and Kartik will be doing the same together. Both will be seen together on the inter-city tour of Aaj Kal promotions.

As per media reports, “The makers are planning to promote the Imtiaz Ali directorial in different cities across India. As Sara and Kartik aren't bitter about their relationship they will be seen promoting the film together in all the cities.” Sara and Kartik are in touch with each other and will be joining the Aaj Kal promotions without any awkwardness.

Ajay Devgn’s biopic love!

The biopic bug has bitten Ajay Devgn while he preps for Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which is about Shivaji Maharaj’s famous general.

As the story goes, the superstar is also eyeing a movie about Sher Singh Rana, who assassinated Phoolan Devi in 2001. The script will be based on Sher’s book Jail Diary: Tihar Se Kabul-Kandahar Tak, which tells the story of how he planned the murder, then escaped from prison in 2004 and stayed on the run till 2006. Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sara Ali Khan are coming together first time with movie Kedarnath.

 

The actors have lately completed the shooting of the movie which will hit the screens on November 30, 2018.

In a media chat with a daily, Sushant Singh Rajput was all admirations for his Kedarnath co-star and her passion reminded him of his initial days.

"When I started my Bollywood journey five years back, I was excited about learning new things and showcasing my talent. I saw the same enthusiasm in Sara. Her zest reminded me of my early days. She knows her craft well and is confident about her way ahead. I am sure she will do well," revealed Rajput about Sara.

A source revealed to a daily, "Kriti’s song is extremely desi and raunchy. It’s a groovy track that will surely be another chartbuster.” Kriti will shoot the number this week with Varun and Adi.

Speaking about it, Kriti Sanon revealed, "It’s a very special song and a full-on masala Bollywood track that makes you groove instantly. It’s my first work association with Karan and Dharma Productions and I am thrilled about it. I haven’t done something like this before — whether it’s the song or the the way I’ll look, so I’m very excited."

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s underwater stunts for Kedarnath!

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath ran into a controversy when the director of the movie Abhishek Kapoor and the producer had a fallout due to monetary issues. But, now all the issues have been fixed.

As per a tabloid, the young screen couple will begin shooting for some underwater sequences of Kedarnath on April 28 at a specially-constructed facility at Khopoli, on the outskirts of Mumbai.

A source revealed the tabloid, "Abhishek Kapoor, who has been bailed out by Ronnie Screwvala, is going ahead with full gusto. The shoot for the underwater sequences will be done with both the lead actors."

Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira are soon to be parents again!

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, who tied the knot in 2015 and were blessed with a daughter Misha in 2016, are expecting another child.

Lately, Shahid posted a cute picture on Instagram, in which his daughter Misha is seen posing cutely beside a drawing of balloons that says ‘Big Sister’, suggesting that little Misha will soon have a sibling. Mira had told last year that she would like to have a second baby soon.

Juhi Chawla to play in Gujarati ‘Ventilator’!

Earlier, there had been buzzes that veteran Jackie Shroff has been signed up to play a key role in the Gujarati remake of hit Marathi film Ventilator and now, we have learned that Juhi Chawla has also joined the cast of the movie.

As per report, Juhi will be playing the role that was played by Boman Irani in the original Marathi version of the movie – that of Dr. Shroff. In the past, Juhi has acted in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and Punjabi films. Ventilator, which marked director Ashutosh Gowariker’s acting comeback, was Priyanka Chopra’s debut as a producer.

Deepika Padukone’s solo entry in Time's 100 Most Influential People list 2018!

It has reported that Deepika Padukone has become the only Indian actor to join the TIME 100 Influential People of 2018 list.

Flabbergasted by the honour, Deepika Padukone posted, “Honestly, I’ve never really believed in self-acknowledgment. Instead, I have always looked ahead in life. But I must admit that today, I do feel a small sense of achievement. It is humbling to be acknowledged for the work that you do, and so, it’s my absolute honour to be part of this prestigious list alongside such incredible achievers.”

Divya Khosla Kumar to win Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Bulbul!

The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards is a prominent award ceremony which sees the best and brightest from the entertainment field are awarded for their work.

Amongst those bestowed was filmmaker and actress Divya Khosla Kumar who was awarded the Best Performance Dadasaheb Phalke Award for a short film Bulbul. Divya, who was overjoyed with the honour looked pretty and kept it ethnic in an off-white saree. 

Short film Bulbul is directed by Ashish Panda and produced by T-Series films & Divya Khosla Kumar. The movie is adapted from Lt. Kundan Shah's work.

Along with Divya, Shiv Pandit and Elli AvrRam, the short film also stars Anang Desai, Yogesh Tripathi, Kanika Dang, Jeetu, Palash Dutta, Pranav Verma, Ashok Patha, Vandana Vithlani, Dulal, Akshay Bhagat and N. Sharma.

Milind Soman’s traditional marriage with girlfriend Ankita Konwar!

Recently, the model-actor Milind Soman tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ankita Konwar. The marriage festivities took place in Alibaug and in presence of family and close friends of the duo.

Numerous of their friends took to their social media pages and posted numerous photographs of the couple getting hitched. Milind made for a handsome groom in a golden and white kurta and dhoti. While Ankita looked beautiful as a bride wearing an off-white saree with golden shiny border.

Hrithik and Karan Johar’s campaign for suicide prevention!

Celebs Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan have come out in support of stopping suicide in the country on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day 2017.

Hrithik on Saturday shared a link of a video, which showed that one should listen to a person for saving lives.

"On World Suicide Prevention Day, make a pledge to listen, and save a life," Hrithik captioned the video.

Karan also posted the same link and wrote a similar caption for the video. He also tagged Neerja Birla, Founder and Chairperson of Mpower, The Aditya Birla World Academy and The Aditya Birla Integrated School.

Birla has started with the campaign and wrote on her Twitter account: "In honour of World Suicide Prevention Day join the #EarForYou movement. Listen it can save a life."

As per the official page of Mpower, their aim is "to empower individuals and their families dealing with mental health disorders by raising awareness, alleviating stigma, advocating prevention, fostering education, and providing world class holistic services, so that they can lead meaningful and productive lives, with respect and dignity."

Nepotism is the hottest topic in town and everybody in Bollywood is pitching in their two cents on the topic. The term 'Nepotism' made light when Kangana Ranaut termed Karan Johar as the 'Flagbearer of Nepotism' on his controversial talk show Koffee With Karan.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is a star kid herself and Karan's best friend was yet to speak about nepotism. But, now the actress opened about it with a leading entertainment magazine.

Taking a stance, Kareena specified, "A lot of things seem out of context. Doesn't nepotism exist in every field? But nobody addresses that. In business families, the son takes over the business. A politician's son takes over his place. These are not considered nepotism but in the industry, it makes for a nice read. Also, not many star kids have achieved what their parents have. So I don't understand why people are going on about it."

The actress added later, "Basically, the industry is a ruthless place. It's about talent and survival of the fittest. Otherwise, a lot of star kids would've been No. 1 stars in our country. If there's Ranbir Kapoor, there's also Ranveer Singh who's not from the industry. So honestly, nepotism is overrated. More than in business, more than in politics, in the industry it's your hard work and talent that will take you far. That's exactly the reason Kangana Ranaut is considered such a great actress. And she's not from the industry. If there's Alia Bhatt, there's also Kangana. It's not only about star-kids."

Priyanka to star opposite Aamir in Rakesh Sharma's biopic Salute?

The conjectures surrounding Priyanka Chopra's next Bollywood project has been rife for the longest time as the actress has been rumoured to be starring in numerous projects. But, no official validation has been made on the same.

Recently, news by a famous tabloid suggested, Priyanka may star alongside Aamir Khan in astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic. Titled Salute, the film will see Aamir portray the role of Rakesh Sharma while Priyanka will likely play his wife in the biopic. Salute will be directed by Mahesh Mathai.

In an interview, when we questioned Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra about the reports, she said, "I am the last person to know about it. Rumours mat phailaao yaar! (Don't spread rumours). This has not reached my ears."

She also disclosed that Priyanka does not have time for a Bollywood movie, this year and specified, "She is starting with Quantico next month which will go on for 8-9 months, after that maybe."

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput and director Abhishek Kapoor collaborated for the first time for the former's Bollywood debut film Kai Po Che and it worked wonders for the actor. Then there was no looking back for him. Now, the actor has paired up yet again with the director for their forthcoming movie, Kedarnath. Kapoor took to Instagram to pronounce that they will be starting the shoot tomorrow and well, he is also all admirations for Sushant.

He told, "I discovered this thunderstorm of an actor when i did #kaipoche. Previously, the movie was to go on floors on September 3 and now it has been shifted to September 5, which is tomorrow. Apart from Sushant, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. Sara and Sushant, before the shoot even begun went to the Kedarnath Temple to seek blessings.

Going by the news, Sushant will be essaying the role of a pithoo in the movie. In an interview with us, he also confirmed that he is living like a pithoo and learned the basics of cooking, including vegetarian food. He revealed us, "“I don’t debate those things like these are things I normally don’t do in my life but instead I think I should be doing them. It’s just that I have to do what my character does and that’s non-negotiable. A few days back if you asked me if I know how to cook I would have said no, it could have been different but now, yes, I can say I know the basics of cooking (laugh). I can cook everything – like daal, chawal and roti to sabzis. Recently I went to meet the CRPF jawans at Manipur for Jai Jawan for August 15 and I made some nice, perfectly round, thin rotis there for them and you know that someone who can make round rotis can make daal-chawaal too! Now I can safely say I have the basic instinct to survive and how."

I have not held onto the tag of serial kisser, media did, says Emraan Hashmi!

Whenever we think of Emraan Hashmi, the first thing that comes to our mind is 'serial kisser'. And he is one of the few actors who is not apprehensive to speak about it.

During a communication with a famous tabloid, when Emraan was questioned about the same, he told, "I have not held onto the tag of serial kisser, media did. My contribution to the tag was only 2 years and for the rest of 12 years, media stretched it. It’s very amusing for me. I let it go off long time ago, now I don’t even think about it. I think people need to be slightly more innovative, you don’t have to be an actor with a tag. So, I think that’s the way I see my career after this."

He added, "I don’t want to associate myself with particular label or genre because things in cinema change very rapidly. I think it’s very important not to be a star but to be an actor who plays different characters. And that’s only way you work in film industry. That’s the way I see myself."

“During this journey, I have meet some really good people and have learnt some lessons. For me every day is a new day. Every film comes with its own sets of learning experiences and that’s how I take it up. I feel one should keep striving and try to do better work,” the actor added.

On the film front, Emraan's Baadshaho has finally hit the theatres. The movie will show him in a different Rajasthani avatar for the first time. Baadshaho is set against the backdrop of the 1975 Emergency Period and also stars Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal in the lead roles.
