Ashutosh Gowariker's masterwork Mohenjo Daro has got
cine-lovers all thrilled courtesy its novel content and powerful star cast and
now, the makers have piqued the viewer’s inquisitiveness all the more with
their fantastic teaser poster, which makes it worth the wait. This poster
reaches the viewers just over two months before the film's release, an unheard
of norm as other movies release first looks much previously, some even a year
earlier.
The teaser poster of the period romance features a
round-shaped seal, which has the forms of six animals – a unicorn, a bull, an
elephant, a tiger, a rhinoceros and a deer, embossed on it along with words in
the Sindhu Script, the language of the Indus Valley. As several seals were
found by archaeologists during excavations, we can safely say that the makers
have been able to capture the essence of the Bronze Age civilization with their
very first poster in an enigmatic and representative manner that is truly
unique.
The bronze-gold poster is enigmatic and intriguing and will
make you want to know more about the wonderful city and more so the movie,
which promises to be the biggest movie event of the year. Set in the ancient
city of Mohenjo Daro, the much-awaited film stars Hrithik Roshan and Pooja
Hegde in the lead roles. Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh also have key roles in
the movie.
The movie's music has been composed by Academy Award-winning
music director A.R. Rahman and veteran writer Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics.
Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita Gowariker, Mohenjo Daro is all set
