Megastar Salman Khan has rebutted rumors that he has been
approached for the fourth installment of the Dhoom franchise. It was generally
speculated that Salman was being wooed to play a baddie in Yash Raj Films'
super-hit action franchise.
During a recent media interaction, Salman told, ''I don't
know. Because they (YRF) haven't asked me yet." When quizzed if he would
be interested in playing the antagonist in the franchise, the Dabang man joked,
''See if Abhishek (Bachchan) and Uday (Chopra) hire all of those people to come
and catch me who were in earlier ones then perhaps, or else the climax will be
an unfair climax.''
Unlike Shah Rukh Khan, who chose take up negative roles
early on in his career, and Aamir Khan, who portrayed a negative character in
Dhoom 3, Salman has never played a baddie in his two-decade long career.
Salman will be next seen in Yash Raj Films' Sultan, which
releases on Eid.
