We had informed earlier that Shah Rukh Khan is planning to
remake Yash Chopra's 1969 release Ittefaq and that Sidharth Malhotra and
Sonakshi Sinha will be play the lead roles in it and now, Sidharth has confirmed the news.
Malhotra, who is presently in Miami shooting for Raj
Nidimoru and Krishna DK's forthcoming actioner, told that he is very excited to
work in the remake and that it will be something different for him. Sidharth
will reprise Rajesh Khanna's role from the original in the movie.
The movie will be co-produced by SRK's Red Chillies, Karan
Johar's Dharma Productions and BR Films.
