Aamir Khan to play astronaut Rakesh Sharma in his next film!

Aamir Khan, who is told to be quite selective about the projects that he takes up, seems to be quite captivated with biopics. After wrapping up his forthcoming movie Dangal, which is based on the life of Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, Aamir might be a part of another biopic.

News has it that Aamir might be signed up to play the lead role in a movie on the life of the first Indian cosmonaut Captain Rakesh Sharma. For those who do not know this, Indian Air Force pilot Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to be a part of a space programme by India's ISRO and Russia's Soviet Intercosmos.

Aamir is presently shooting for Dangal, which is based on the life of a wrestler, who trains his daughters in the sport.
