Sonam Kapoor, who has generally starred as the female lead
in big-budget movies, is keen on doing an edgy role in small-budget movies like
Masaan and The Lunchbox.
Ruing the fact that directors don't approach her with such
roles, Sonam told that she would love to do such roles as she is dying to
explore herself as an actress. Sonam had played the lead role in Neerja, a
movie based on the slain airhostess Neerja Bhanot and the actress had received
rave reviews for her role in the movie, which is claimed to be her best
performance till date.
Sonam will be next seen in home production Veera Di Shaadi.
