Arjun Kapoor, who was last seen opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan
in Ki & Ka, will be next seen playing the lead in Half Girlfriend, which is
based on Chetan Bhagat's book bearing the same name and Kapoor's look from the film
was revealed today.
Arjun will play the role of a national-level basketball
player from Bihar named Madhav Jha and in the still that has been unveiled, a
sweaty Arjun is seen dribbling the ball on a basketball court in a black tee
and olive green shorts paired with a pair of blue sort shoes. The movie, which
stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead, apparently went on floors today.
Directed by Mohit Suri, Half Girlfriend is slated to release
on April 28 next year.
