We had informed that Shah Rukh Khan and producer Ritesh
Sidhwani paid a late night visit to filmmaker Rakesh Roshan to discuss the
clash between Raees and Kaabil, but Roshan Sr. has dismissed the rumors and told
that the clash is still on.
Roshan told that the meeting was a casual one and they did
not discuss the shifting of the release date. The actor-turned-filmmaker added
that SRK called him and met him for old times' sake. SRK's Raees was previously
slated to release along with Salman Khan's Sultan, but the makers later pushed
the release of the movie to January 26, 2017. Roshan's Kaabil, which stars Hrithik
Roshan, is also scheduled to release on Republic Day.
Seemingly, Roshan told that they announced the release date
of their movie much in advance and there are not willing to shift it. Kaabil is
a vengeance drama directed by Sanjay Gupta, which also stars Yami Gautam and
Ronit Roy.
