Television actress Sakshi Tanwar will be next seen playing
Aamir Khan's wife in forthcoming movie Dangal, which is based on the life of
Mahavir Singh Phogat and we overhear that the actress bagged the lead role
thanks to Aamir's mother!
During the poster launch event of the movie, Aamir told,
''My mother watches television serials and she loves Sakshi. She is a huge fan
of Sakshi and then I told Nitesh to consider her as Mahavir's wife in the
movie. She is fantastic and unbelievable. She gives the best shot in just one
take she emotes perfectly. While I had to give six to seven re-takes, she is
flawless. She is such a joy to work with.''
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is slated to release on
December 23.
