Earlier, we had informed that Vicky Kaushal, who marked his
Bollywood debut with Masaan, has been roped into play Deepika Padukone's
husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next Padmavati but, we now overhear that the
actor has walked out of the period drama.
A source has disclosed that Vicky opted out of the project
because his role in the movie was very short as compared to the film's lead
pair – Deepika and Ranveer Singh. But, Vicky has neither confirmed nor denied
the reports, yet.
In the meantime, Kaushal is gearing up for his next
Manmarziyan, in which he will share screen space with Ayushmann Khurranaand and
Bhumi Pednekar.
