Deepika Padukone will be seen making her Hollywood debut
opposite Vin Diesel in action thriller XXX-The Return of Xander Cage and the
trailer of the movie was finally disclosed a couple of days after the teaser of
the movie was unveiled.
But, to our complete dissatisfaction, Deepika, who plays a
character named Serena Unger in the movie, has a blink-and-miss appearance as
the trailer has focused mostly on Vin Diesel. The trailer goes on to show that
the world is not a safe place any longer and that the good guys need a
'different kind of hero' to deal with threats that 'we don't even know exist'.
The trailer's tag line is 'guns, girls and global domination' and it mostly
shows how Diesel does some crazy ass stunts to save the day from the bad guys.
Unhappily, for all the buzz that was created about her
Hollywood debut, Deepika is seen throwing a knife and pointing a gun in two
scenes that flash by and Deepika doesn't even get to utter a dialogue in the
trailer.
