Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are among the
world's highest-paid celebrities of 2016 according to the annual list of
Forbes' 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities of 2016. The list has been topped by
American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift with an earnings of US$ 170
million.
Megastar Shah Rukh Khan, who had an average run at the box
office with movies like Dilwale and Fan ranked 86th on the list with earnings
of US$ 33 million. Apart from films, SRK also cashes in on endorsement deals
for dozens of brands.
While Akshay, who has had rollicking run at the box office
with three releases, featured on the 94th spot with US$ 31.5 million earnings. Seemingly,
Bollywood's Akshay Kumar has slipped in rank this year from 76th in 2015.
According to Forbes, the 48-year-old actor is one of Bollywood's busiest
leading men.
Presently, SRK will be next seen in Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi,
while Akshay will be next seen in Rustom, which releases on August 12.
