Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar have come together to give
hits like Special 26 and Baby and we hear that when the Khiladi heard about
Pandey making a biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he instantly volunteered for
the lead role.
Akshay, who is one of the fittest actors in the film
industry, spoke to Neeraj about starring in the film, but Pandey turned down
the actor by claiming that Dhoni and Kumar do not resemble each other at all.
Kumar reluctantly agreed and Sushant Singh Rajput was signed up to play Captain
Cool.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is set to release on
September 30.
