Filmmaker Hansal Mehta and actor Rajkummar Rao have joined
hands in critically acclaimed movies like Shahid, Citylights and Aligarh, and
now seemingly they are going to team up for Mehta's next, Simran.
The movie, which stars three-time National Award winning
actress Kangana Ranaut, has a woman-oriented subject, and Rao, who has also won
a National Award for his brilliant act in Shahid, will have an important role
in the movie. Rajkummar and Kangana have previously worked together in Vikas
Bahl's Queen.
Seemingly, Kangana will play the role of a Gujarati NRI in
the movie, which is billed to be a light-hearted fun movie. The film will be
shot across the US including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco
and Atlanta.
