Gifted actress Vidya Balan, who will be seen playing the
madam of a brothel in Begum Jaan, the Hindi adaptation of National
Award-winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji's Bengali movie, Rajkahini will be
using jewellery from her personal collection in the movie, we hear.
A source told, "Vidya has a massive and impressive
jewellery collection which she wants to use in the film. Vidya loves ethnic
sarees and jewellery and has over 300 earrings and loads of rings, including
some vintage costume jewellery. Since the film is based in the early 19th
century, it made complete sense to pick pieces from her personal
collection."
Vidya, who was last seen essaying a cop in TE3N, will also
be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani 2.
