Following the paths of Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra
and Deepika Padukone, young star Alia Bhatt told that she wants to explore and
experiment with acting in Hollywood.
The 23-year-old told a leading news agency that Hollywood is
a destination that she definitely wants to reach after another couple of years
in Bollywood. She further added that she has plans to enter Hollywood, but she
is taking it slow and wants to first cement her place in Indian cinema.
Alia's act in her latest movie, Udta Punjab, which revolves
around the drug menace in the state of Punjab, was widely celebrated. The
actress, who has seven films under her belt, added that Hollywood actress
Jennifer Lawrence is her favourite and she intends to do films such as Silver
Linings Playbook in Hollywood, which would give her a wider scope to perform
and learn.
Alia will be next seen in Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi, which
also stars megastar Shah Rukh Khan. The movie is likely to release in
November-end.
