Megastar Salman Khan, who is prepping to start work on his
next movie Tubelight, is seemingly going to play a simple-minded man who is
looked down upon by society because he is slow to pick up on things around him.
Apparently, Salman's character is called Tubelight in the movie,
which is jargon for someone who is slow on the uptake. Sources told that Kabir
has guaranteed that the delicate subject is treated sensitively in the movie.
Sources further added that the movie is a love story set against the backdrop
of the 1962 Indo-China war and the Indian protagonist falls in love with a girl
from China.
In the meantime, the makers of the movie are still to
finalise the female lead for the movie. News is that Salman may romance a
Chinese actress in the movie. The movie is expected to hit the screens on next
Eid. Before Tubelight, Salman and Kabir have collaborated on Ek Tha Tiger and
Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
