Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni says something interesting about his biopic!

Ever since the trailer of forthcoming movie MS Dhoni-The Untold Story was uncovered, people have been curious to see the movie, which is based on the life of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and 'Captain Cool', as he is lovingly known, finally spoke about his opinion of the movie.

Dhoni told that he wanted the biopic, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput, to tell his journey and not to glorify him and that he said director Neeraj Pandey to see to it that the biopic is shaped that way. Dhoni further added that as a person who likes to live in the present, it was 'difficult' for him to go back into his life and tell his story to Pandey for the film.

Celebrated filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, whose next project MS Dhoni-The Untold Story revolves around the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is not a admirer of 'Captain Cool'!

During a media interaction, Neeraj disclosed that when it comes to cricket, he likes Sachin Tendulkar and AB De Villiers and added that it is good that he has never been a fan of Dhoni.

Explaining on this, Pandey told that had he been a fan of the cricketer, he would not have been able to present his story in an unbiased manner in the film, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.

MS Dhoni-The Untold Story is slated to release on September 30 this year.

Akshay Kumar tried to convince Neeraj Pandey to let him play Dhoni instead of Sushant Singh Rajput!

Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar have come together to give hits like Special 26 and Baby and we hear that when the Khiladi heard about Pandey making a biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he instantly volunteered for the lead role.

Akshay, who is one of the fittest actors in the film industry, spoke to Neeraj about starring in the film, but Pandey turned down the actor by claiming that Dhoni and Kumar do not resemble each other at all. Kumar reluctantly agreed and Sushant Singh Rajput was signed up to play Captain Cool.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is set to release on September 30.
