Arjun Rampal to play a helpful cop in 'Kahaani 2'!

Though it had been informed that Arjun Rampal will be next seen sharing screen space with Vidya Balan in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani 2, not much was disclosed about his character, but we have dug up some details on the same.

Rampal and Ghosh lately posted a selfie on Twitter after wrapping up the shooting of the movie and in the photograph, we can see that Rampal is seen wearing a police uniform with the name Inderjeet Singh and the designation Sub Inspector on the name tag on his pocket. Rampal is also seen sporting shades and a light stubble in the pic. In the prequel Kahaani, Parambrata Chatterjee had played a helpful cop, so we wonder if Rampal will play a similar supporting role in the movie.

Kahaani revolved around an ostensibly pregnant woman, who comes from London to Kolkata to search for her missing husband.

Aamir Khan to be a part of Anil Kapoor's '24'?

It is known that Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan has been a supporter of actor Anil Kapoor's thriller TV series 24 and now there is a news that Aamir could be a part of the show's second season.

Seemingly, Anil is keen on getting Aamir to play a cameo in the second season of the show. According to sources, the PK star has shown interest, but he wants to review each aspect before making the commitment. In the meantime, Anil has roped in Aamir to launch the show at a press conference in June first week.

Aamir will be next seen in Dangal in December, where he is depicting the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters.

Is 'TE3N' a remake of a Korean thriller Montage?

The trailer of forthcoming suspense thriller TE3N starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, made everybody curious about the film, but did you know that Sujoy Ghosh's forthcoming production venture is the remake of a Korean film and not an original story?

Yes, you read it right-reportedly; the movie is the official remake of a Korean movie titled Montage, which revolves around a grandfather and a police detective trying to solve a cold case when a crime using the same method is committed again. Approving the news, Amitabh told that though he is aware that his movie is a remake, he deliberately did not see the original film as he did not feel it was necessary to do so.

TE3N is slated to release on June 10.

Radhika Apte, who wowed everybody with her role as an artist, who suffers from agoraphobia in latest release Phobia, disclosed that she had not even read the script when she gave her nod to the film.

Explaining on the same, Radhika told, ''I didn't even read the script when I said yes to the film. At that time it was just an idea but coincidentally, I was working on 'Panic Disorder' at the same time with a friend and I thought it was quite serendipitous thatPawan also came up with a script about a mental disorder. Also the twist of the plot intrigued me as it was something that was not done before so I gave my nod for it without even reading the script.''

When asked if Nitara too will be encouraged to learn self defence, Akshay told that he wants her to start training the day she turns four and that he is quite enthusiastic about his daughter learning martial arts so that she can defend herself. Akshay further added that as he cannot be with his daughter to protect her all the time, he wants her to learn how to protect herself.

Anil Kapoor, who was last seen playing the adorable goon Majnu Bhai in Welcome Back, has constantly wowed us over the years with his versatility and his act and the actor recently shared his thoughts on movie content over the years.

When asked if commercial entertainers will become outdated as the focus is more on off-beat movies, realistic movies and 'out of the box' concepts, Anil told, "There is nothing like outdated content, it could either be good or bad. If you look at Baahubali, the basic crux of the film is a story that has existed since years. We have seen similar movies made in India in the past as well but it still emerged as a hugely successful film. It was due to the way the narrative was laid out. So there's nothing as outdated content, it's the way you pitch it to the audience."

Kapoor is presently prepping for the second season of 24, in which he plays a counter-terrorism operative named Jai Singh Rathod.

'Sultan' is Salman's best performance, says Randeep Hooda

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, who recently wowed us with two brilliant acts in Laal Rang and Sarbjit, told that Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has given one of the best performances of his career in their forthcoming film Sultan.

When asked how was it working with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star for the second time after Kick, Randeep told, ''It has always been great. We are very good friends and so it translates on screen. I am very happy to just do a movie with Salman Khan. I loved being a part of Kick and now I am a part of Sultan.''

Randeep, who plays Salman's MMA coach in Sultan, added that his role in the movie is smaller than Kick, but he enjoyed being part of the movie. Speaking at the success party of his newest release Sarbjit, Randeep further added, ''Though my part is a lot smaller than Kick, but I am there and we got to hang out… I think it's probably one of Salman's best performances.''

Sultan, which releases on this Eid, also stars Anushka Sharma, who also plays a Haryanvi wrestler.

Arijit Singh posts public apology to Salman for retaining his song in 'Sultan'!

Late on Tuesday night, singer Arijit Singh posted an open letter to Salman Khan, apologizing to him about a dispute. In the letter, the Gerua singer demanded Salman to retain a song of his in Sultan. But, after a couple of hours, Arijit deleted his post.

Seemingly, a song sung by Arijit in Sultan has been dropped from the movie. The genuine letter stated that Arijit tried to apologize to the Bollywood megastar on many occasions, but to no avail.

After deleting the original post, the singer put up another post on Facebook, "I hope he gets my letter through someway. Ps. This whole thing will backfire at me I know. Prayers.."

The reason why Salman is miffed with him is unclear, but there is plenty speculation. Seemingly, Arijit's comments at an awards show in 2014, which Salman was hosting, irked the star.

Kareena plays real doctor in 'Udta Punjab'!

Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen playing an idealistic doctor in forthcoming movie Udta Punjab, but what many might not know is that Kareena's character is based on an actual doctor who the director Abhishek Chaubey met while researching for the movie.

Explaining on the same, Chaubey told that while in Tarn Taran, he met a doctor of psychiatry, who travelled every day from Amritsar to see addicts hooked to drugs. Chaubey added that when he asked the doctor why he chooses to drive for a couple of hours from Amritsar to Tarn Taran to help addicts fight drugs, the doctor reportedly said that he does this because someone has to. Chaubey revealed that this doctor proved to be an inspiration for Kareena's character.

Apparently, after talks with the light-eyed actor did not materialise, director Siddharth Anand approached Sidharth to star as desi Rambo. According to the news, Sidharth has liked the idea, but wants to see the script before he signs the project. The action film will be a three-film series.

Akshay Kumar loses his cool over racist jokes aimed at Lisa Haydon!

Sources say that Lisa was almost in tears and Akshay lost his temper at the insults that were flying, which made him push Jadhav. Actress Vidya Balan's 'Begum Jaan' hits a roadblock!

Vidya Balan's next, Begum Jaan, which is a Hindi remake of Rajkahani, a Bengali movie, is seemingly in trouble after three department heads left the project.

Apparently, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, production designers Amit Ray and Subrata Chakraborty and costume designer Payal Saluja, have quit the movie because the makers were cutting corners. The makers of the movie changed the film's location from Punjab to Hyderabad and then Rajasthan and finally to Kolkata. The three HODs of the movie seemingly felt that the quality of the movie was being compromised and hence they left the project. Film's co-producer, Vishesh Bhatt but, clarified that Chandran left the project due to personal reasons. In the meantime, the makers have started looking for their replacements.

The movie is set in the aftermath of the Partition of India and focuses on how it affects 11 women who live in a brothel. Balan, who recently wrapped up shooting of Kahaani 2, plays the brothel's madam.

Earlier, we had informed about how Sonu Nigam camouflaged himself as a beggar and sang with an old harmonium on the streets of Juhu for a social experiment video, which went viral.

Now, we have learned that Nigam, who sportingly agreed to be a part of this experiment, sang 25 songs in three hours flat! In a statement, Sonu told, ''What you guys saw, was a very short clip. At every spot, I sang for one hour each. One hour behind Chandan, then one hour in front of Chandan, one hour at Four Bungalows. So, it wasn't easy, sitting in the sun, in the dust, and I sang a varied range of songs; you just heard two. I might have sung at least 25 songs.''

The video has gone viral on social media, collecting 3.5 million views already on YouTube in less than a week's time! In a previously statement, Nigam had told, ''I went (on to do this video) without any expectations, totally bereft of any awkwardness for the way I was looking and what I was about to subject myself to. For the first time, I was not me. The make-up was so good and authentic that people standing so close to me, couldn't recognize."

Salman to star in Rajshri Productions' first ever action film!

Rajshri Productions, which has dished out several movies that revolve around family and family values, will soon be coming out with an action film starring megastar Salman Khan. Earlier in the year, Sooraj Barjatya had announced that he will be teaming up with Salman once more for his next, but now we have learned that Sooraj won't helm the project.

News is that the movie will be directed by Sukumar, who is a popular name in the Telugu industry and Sooraj Barjatya will be on board as a producer. Seemingly, the out and out actioner will be produced jointly by Rajshri Productions and Fox Star Studios.

Salman and Sooraj come together for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo last year, over a decade and half after Hum Saath Saath Hain. In the meantime, Salman is prepping for his forthcoming release Sultan, where he plays a Haryanvi wrestler. The movie, which will release on Eid, also stars Anushka Sharma and Randeep Hooda.

Hrithik Roshan, who is a loving dad to his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, has decided to learn drawing for the sake of his sons so that they can also learn from him.

Taking to his Instagram account, Hrithik posted a picture of his 'art' and posted, ''Scribbles and doodles and messy little squiggles. Teaching myself to draw to teach my sons in turn.'' Hrithik is quite dedicated to his sons and often takes out time to hang out with them and take them out on vacations and picnics.

Hrithik, who lately wrapped up Mohenjo Daro, will be next seen in Sanjay Gupta's Kaabil.

Veteran Rishi Kapoor defends his tweets about the Gandhi family!

Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his candid attitude, had angered many Congress supporters lately by demanding to know why almost every national asset is named after members of the Gandhi family and following the criticism that he received, Rishi opened up about his stand in an interview to a daily.

Talking about the instance, Rishi told that he is neither anti-Congress not pro-BJP, but that he had made the statement as he was genuinely not happy with the policy of naming everything after members of the Gandhi family. Rishi added that though even his wife Neetu Singh doesn't approve of his habit of tweeting whatever is on his mind, he doesn't regret what he posted.

We had informed earlier that Ajay Devgn, who had played a Sikh in Son of Sardaar, will don the turban once again for Sons Of Sardaar, an epic war movie and we have learned that Devgn wants to sign up Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt too for the movie as he wants to make an ensemble action film like The Expendables.

Sources claim that Salman too is quite thrilled about the movie and is also flirting with the idea of co-producing the movie with Devgn, who is also in talks with Sanjay Dutt. Sons Of Sardaar will be a period war film based on the 'Battle Of Saragarhi', in which 21 Sikh soldiers laid down their lives in a battle against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.

Salman Khan breaks his silence on wedding with Lulia Vantur!

There have been plenty of rumors about megastar Salman Khan and his rumored girlfriend Iulia Vantur's wedding. There were even rumors that Salman and Lulia had secretly got engaged in Chandigarh while the actor was shooting for his forthcoming movie Sultan, but the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star has dismissed these rumors.

In an interview to a leading newspaper, the 50-year-old megastar told that these were rumors and if he got engaged or was getting wedded he would be proud to announce it himself. Previously at the IIFA 2016 press conference, when he was asked about his marriage, Salman told, “It is my wedding, why should I tell you? I will get married or not, it is my personal matter. It is about my fans. I will announce it on Facebook and Twitter."

The gossips about the two tying the knot increased after Salman made his first public appearance with Iulia at Preity Zinta's wedding reception. The actor told that presently he has no time for wedding as he is busy with a movie or an advertisement or Bigg Boss. The actor added that he has plenty to think about other than marriage, which he said, will happen if it has to happen.

Anil Kapoor obtains rights of 'Prison Break' for Indian TV!

After purchasing the remake rights of US show 24 and making it in India, actor-producer Anil Kapoor is gearing up to remake another hit series for the Indian viewers.

News has it that Kapoor has purchased the remake rights of Prison Break and plans to make it in India. Approving the same, Anil, who is presently busy with preps for the second season of '24' told that Prison Break is an emotional tale about sibling love and also has thrills galore, which makes it perfect for the Indian audience. When asked if Anil would star in it, the Mr. India said that though he would have loved to be a part of the series, he is busy with 24 and as such, it would not be possible for him to star in it.

Anil Kapoor will reprise his role as counter-terrorism operative Jai Singh Rathod in 24.

Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor to face camera together first time for 'Mubaraka'!

News is that actor Anil Kapoor and his nephew Arjun Kapoor are coming together first time for a light-hearted comedy Mubaraka. Anees Bazmee, who is directing the movie, is keen to rope in Anil Kapoor to play a parallel lead with Arjun.

If the plan materializes, this will be the first time Arjun and Anil will act together in a movie. Firstly, the film was to be directed by Milap Zaveri, but the producer of the film later roped in Bazmee, who has helmed several hit comedies including the Welcome franchise, Singh Is Kinng, No Entry.

Seemingly, Bazmee is making some changes in the script and the final narration of the script is probable to take place in July. Anil Kapoor and Bazmee have worked together in Welcome, Welcome Back and No Entry.
