Phone Booth’s reel horror!

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have cast Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar in a project that’s been tentatively titled Phone Booth, and the name is already causing a lot of confusion.

While some people say it’ll be a horror movie, there are others who swear it’s a remake of a 2002 American thriller that starred Colin Farrell. That one was about a publicist who finds his life under threat when he answers a call in a public phone booth. Hopefully someone from Excel Entertainment clears the air soon!

Ishaan Khattar’s Midnight’s Children web saga!

Ishaan Khattar hasn’t signed a project since Dhadak, but there’s buzz that he’s going to board a pair of web shows from two big filmmakers.

First up he’s in talks to do Mira Nair’s small screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s book A Suitable Boy, which might also star Tabu in a key role. That aside, Ishaan has been offered Vishal Bhardwaj’s web series that’s based on the Salman Rushdie novel Midnight’s Children. From the looks of it, Ishaan might have more of a focus on making it internationally, don’t you think?

Ishaan Khatter opens up about her mother Neelima Azim’s importance his life!

Newbie Ishaan Khatter is gearing up for his Bollywood debut film, Dhadak. Ishaan has found a great support system within his family, specifically from mother and actress Neelima Azim.

Speaking about how important his mother is to him, Ishaan revealed to a daily, "She is a symbol of strength in my life. She’s somebody from whom I’ve derived the meaning of strength and resilience, and she has also deeply embedded the value of women in my life. Women can be far stronger than men, and so I think she has been the most important person in my life. Also, we have a great time discussing films."

We were able to witness Ishaan's flawless dancing skills in the song of the summer, Zingaat from Dhadak, which is reminiscent of Ishaan's brother Shahid Kapoor, also known for his dance moves. Speaking about the same, Ishaan revealed, "I feel very fortunate. Our mother is the first dancer in the family and she’s a far superior dancer than either of us. We have inherited everything from her. I come from a family that loves its job and is very involved. I want to keep getting better, so that I can make them proud."

Bollywood’s newbie Ishaan Khatter debuted with Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds.

 

Ishaan is presently promoting his next movie, Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak with Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is scheduled to release on July 20, 2018. Janhvi and Ishaan have been promoting the film by visiting several cities and interacting with the viewers.

In a one-to-one with a tabloid, Ishaan disclosed how he landed Dhadak, he revealed, “My audition was my social media account, I think. Karan’s [Johar] team had seen some of my videos on Instagram—Dubsmashes and things—and then I had a series of meetings with him.”

Ishaan had disclosed at the trailer launch of the movie that Shashank Khaitan took him for the screening of Sairat and informed him on the way that he would like him to star in the remake being directed by him.

Dhadak is the official remake of the Marathi super-hit movie Sairat.

Dhadak’s Zingaat maintains same energy as in Sairat's song!

The Hindi version of Zingaat from Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Dhadak is released. The song is an adaptation of Marathi movie Sairat's song Zingaat.

The song from Marathi movie Sairat became an instant hit in 2016. The lively and peppy dance number.

Sairat's songs were composed by music directors Ajay-Atul who are also composing the songs for Dhadak.

The Hindi Zingaat is crooned by Ajay-Atul for this Ishaan-Janhvi starrer.

The most-awaited film Dhadak's trailer has launched in the presence of main star cast Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar. Dhadak is a remake of the super-hit Marathi movie Sairat.  It is the debut film of Janhvi Kapoor.

"When two worlds collide, they become one"

Dhadak is a journey of young, pure, unconditional and a fierce first love that fights fate.

Meet Madhukar and Parthavi, two young and passionate individuals who make a safe haven of their own when they fall in love. But as their love grew, so did their problems when their families reject their love. Torn between society and families, their fate becomes uncertain but their love stands strong.

This is Janhvi & Ishaan's debut film.

In the photos, Janhvi is seen wearing a green and pink anarkali. She has paired it along with heavy jhumkas and high heels, while Ishaan is sporting a cool look, with blue jeans, grey t-shirt, red jacket and white sports shoes.

The trailer of Dhadak focuses on the young love story of Meet (Ishaan) and Parthavi (Janhvi). Both the actors look good together and complement each other quite well. We also get a new version of Zingaat with this film.

Dhadak is scheduled to release on July 20, 2018.

Ishaan Khatter to call Shahid Kapoor - a wise old man!

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's baby brother is all grown up as he will be making his movie debut in Oscar-winning Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's film, Beyond The Clouds. Beyond The Clouds also stars Malavika Mohan, Gautam Ghose, GV Sharada, Dhwani Rajesh, Amruta Santosh Thakur and Shivam Pujari.

As the film premiered last year at the Turkish Film Festival with Ishaan winning Best Actor, in a media chat with a tabloid, Ishaan revealed about his brother's joy and relief. The actor told, "Shahid was very happy. More than the things that he said, I could see it on his face that he was relieved. I felt a great satisfaction and warmth, as it’s my brother from whom I’ve learnt so much, and it’s like giving back."

"He is the wise old man in our family. (laughs). Once in a while, he expresses his philosophy. I’m philosophical, too, but I prefer to listen. I talk about these things only to the people I’m close to," Ishaan further revealed.

Previously, when the tabloid had questioned Shahid if he would love to work with Ishaan in the future, the actor specified, "It’s always beautiful to share a movie with family. In such a case, things become even more special. So yes, it would be great and I would be happy to work with any of them. In fact, I haven’t worked much with dad as an actor (Kapoor Sr directed Shahid in Mausam; 2011), and I would really love for more of that to happen. As for Ishaan, he is just starting out, so, let him take off [in his career]. We will discuss those thoughts [of working together] later."

Beyond The Clouds is scheduled to release on April 20, 2018.

Jhanvi and Ishaan’s look test for Fault in Our Stars remake!

Veteran actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor's debut movie has been a topic of chat from quite a few months now. The young girl has been preparing up for her big debut under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions. While there hasn't been any official pronouncement yet, reports suggest that she would step into Bollywood with the Hindi remake of Marathi hit Sairat.

The film will also see another new face and that is of Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter. Though Ishaan's debut movie is Majid Majidi's Beyond the Clouds, his mainstream debut will be KJo's film.

Among these rumors, comes another news that has intrigued us. If a report in a daily is to be believed, then both Jhanvi and Ishaan have also been roped in for the remake of Shailene Woodley's Fault in Our Stars. The film will be directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has two blockbusters - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania to his credit!

Fascinatingly, it was with this movie that Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan was to make her debut. But, it seems that things didn't work out between them and now the beautiful girl will be marking her debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath that also stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead.

In the meantime, the look test for Fault in Our Stars happened over the weekend and both Jhanvi and Ishaan seem to have mesmerized all with it. We are thrilled to see the pictures from the look test and for the official announcement. 

Karan desires to launch promising Ishaan in his future project!

Earlier reports as Karan Johar launching a new face in the industry was about him roping in Shahid’s brother Ishaan Khattar and Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan for the remake of The Fault in our Stars. But, now that the film is cancelled, the newest update is that Karan is keen on launching Ishaan with Dharma Productions.

As per a close source, Karan desires to launch Ishaan in his future project for he senses that Ishaan is “promising.” Though the budding actor’s launchpad couldn’t take a flight, KJo will sort out another film for him.

Seemingly, brother Shahid and mother Neelima are eager about it and can’t wait for the filmmaker to make an official announcement.

Remarkably, Ishaan has already been signed for a movie with Iranian director Majid Majidi.

Karan Johar desires to launch Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan and Shahid’s brother Ishaan?

Filmmaker Karan Johar has often expressed his wish to launch Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan, but before that he is likely to launch two other star kids. News is that Karan's Dharma Productions will be launching Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor's step brother Ishaan Khattar in the sequel of Student Of The Year.

The 44-year-old filmmaker didn't reject the development but stopped just short of making an announcement. KJo hinted that certain things are churning within his production house regarding the launch of the star kids. He further added that he cannot comment on it now and the media will have to wait for an official announcement.

Student Of The Year too marked the entry of two star kids—Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan—and a new talent—Sidharth Malhotra—in Bollywood. The film's sequel will be directed by Punit Malhotra.
