Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his candid attitude, had
angered many Congress supporters lately by demanding to know why almost every
national asset is named after members of the Gandhi family and following the criticism
that he received, Rishi opened up about his stand in an interview to a daily.
Talking about the instance, Rishi told that he is neither
anti-Congress not pro-BJP, but that he had made the statement as he was
genuinely not happy with the policy of naming everything after members of the
Gandhi family. Rishi added that though even his wife Neetu Singh doesn't
approve of his habit of tweeting whatever is on his mind, he doesn't regret
what he posted.
Rishi was last seen playing a mischievous grandfather in
Dharma film Kapoor & Sons.
