Tiger Shroff to step into Sylvester Stallone’s shoes!

Tiger Shroff will step into Sylvester Stallone’s shoes when Siddharth Anand’s take on the cult classic Rambo rolls early next year.

The director has confirmed he’ll begin production on the remake this September, with an October 2020 release in mind. The film will be a calling card for Tiger’s Hollywood career, with plans to showcase him as the next big thing in action. The idea is to get the world to sit up and notice him, which will then open the doors to an international career. I get a feeling the plan will work!

Salman Khan’s fanboy moments with Creed 2 star Sylvester Stallone!

Bollywood’s bhaijaan Salman Khan is presently hectic in promoting his production house’ latest endeavor Love Yatri with the leads of the film, Ayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. The movie which will hit the theatres on 5th October 2018, has kept the audiences hooked with its songs and trailer.

Recently, Salman shared a poster of his idol Sylvester Stallone wherein he is promoting his movie Creed II. With this, the actor has ascertained his love for Sylvester Stallone and the fan that Salman is! Creed II is the forthcoming eighth film from the Rocky franchise starring Dolph Lundgren, Sylvester Stallone, Michael B Jordan and Florian Munteanu, a professional boxer. The film will be the sequel to the revived Rocky franchise which saw the last film Creed in 2015 directed by Ryan Coogler who also directed Black Panther, Fruitville Station with Michael B Jordan. The first movie of the franchise had received an Oscar nomination.

Meeting Stallone will be dream come true, says Tiger Shroff!

Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has already expressed confidence that Tiger Shroff will put his heart and soul into the Indian "Rambo" remake. The Bollywood star tells it will be a "dream come true" moment if he gets to meet his idol during the process of making the 'desi' version of the film.

Asked if he will be meeting Stallone while prepping up for the movie, Tiger said, "That will be a dream come true if I get to meet him sometime during the process of 'Rambo'."

Stallone starred in the actioner. The remake will be directed by Siddharth Anand and co-produced by M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures.

The "Rambo" franchise first came to life in 1982 with "First Blood", which minted over $125 million worldwide. It was followed by a number of successful remakes, including the most recent "Rambo" in 2008, which earned $113 million globally.

The Indian remake will be given a 'desi' twist.

It will follow the life of the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian armed forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land and how he unleashes mayhem by becoming an unstoppable machine after tough training.

Speaking about when will he start with the remake, Tiger, who joined hands with a flagship corporate social responsibility programme P&G Shiksha for a "Shiksha Superheroes" campaign earlier this month, told, "First, I have 'Baaghi 2' and 'Student of the Year 2' to finish and then will go into 'Rambo'."

Principal photography for the movie is scheduled to start in February next year, with a release targeted for late 2018.

Sylvester Stallone’s appearance in First Blood!

Sylvester Stallone is a self-confessed fan of Hindi cinema, which is why he agreed to do a cameo in 2009’s Kambakkht Ishq.

Now there’s buzz that the Italian Stallion is in talks to also make an appearance in the desi remake of his first Rambo film First Blood, which will star Tiger Shroff in the lead. The news might actually be legit since Sajid Nadiadwala has a good relationship with Sly after he managed to rope him in for Kambakkht Ishq. Bottom line - don’t be surprised to see the legend sharing screen space with Tiger soon!

Sidharth Malhotra replaces Hrithik Roshan as the Desi 'Rambo'?

News is that actor Sidharth Malhotra has been approached for the official Indian remake of the Hollywood hit Rambo, which starred Sylvester Stallone. Previously, news had suggested that Hrithik Roshan was finalised for the movie, but finally the talks failed.

Apparently, after talks with the light-eyed actor did not materialise, director Siddharth Anand approached Sidharth to star as desi Rambo. According to the news, Sidharth has liked the idea, but wants to see the script before he signs the project. The action film will be a three-film series.

Sidharth has his hands full at the moment with an action movie with Jacqueline Fernandez, Baar Baar Dekho with Katrina Kaif. The official remake of Rambo is not likely to go on floors before 2017-end.

Hrithik Roshan reprises the Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo role!

Though Siddharth Anand unsuccessful to impress the viewers with his last directorial venture Bang Bang, which was the official remake of Hollywood blockbuster Knight And Day, he hasn’t not given up on remakes or so it seems.

Anand has now acquired the rights of superhit Hollywood franchise Rambo and we overhear that he has roped in Hrithik Roshan, who had also played the lead in Bang Bang, to reprise Sylvester Stallone’s role, with a Bollywood type twist, in the film.

Neither the filmmaker, nor the actor has verified the reports yet.

Akshay Kumar wants work with Sylvester Stallone again!

Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar, who had shared screen space with Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone in the 2009 film Kambakkht Ishq, expressed a wish to work with Rambo once again soon.

Lately during a Twitter conversation, when a fan asked Akshay about which actor would he love to work with, Kumar answered, "It was great working with Mr. Sylvester Stallone, as an actor I'd be greedy & want that opportunity again".

A few months back, Stallone had praised Salman Khan and had said that he would love to work with the 'Bhaijaan' in some action movie.
