I think, Sultan just saved my life, confesses Amit Sadh!

Sultan’s actor Amit Sadh, who played the role of the founder of a private mixed martial arts league in "Sultan", tells the Salman Khan-starrer movie "saved my life" and he is now getting a lot of movie offers which he is looking in to.

"Well, everyone knows the character I played in ‘Sultan' and it was very well appreciated and so was the movie in itself. I think, this movie just saved my life, it has changed the way the industry looks at me today," Amit said.

"I'm really grateful to Salman because we all know, when Salman acts in a movie, it's just phenomenal. This movie has changed my life, I'm getting quite a few movie offers and looking forward to doing some great work.

"Every day I check my mobile phone once, hoping there will be some message that would talk about my next movie with Salman. I would love to work with him again and hoping it happens soon," further added Amit, who has previously appeared in movies like "Kai Po Che!" and "Guddu Rangeela".

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan", which released on July 6 earlier this year, minted over Rs 300 crore at the Indian box office.

Speaking about his forthcoming projects, Amit told, "I have a few movies launching soon and a few will start soon, they will be announced in three-four days. You will see me in Tigmanshu Dhulia's movie ‘Yaara' and there is another one coming up with Taapsee Pannu".

Sultan is the fastest movie to cross the 200 crore mark in just 7 days!

Salman Khan's Sultan has come into the 200 crore club. With this, the Ali Abbas Zafar directed affair has created history as it is the first ever movie to breach the 200 crore mark and that too under 7 days. None of the 200/300 crore club movies before this (PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dhoom 3, Kick, Chennai Express, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Happy New Year, 3 Idiots) has managed to achieve this fortunate feat in such quick time. But, for this Yash Raj Films, it has been made possible as 13.2 crore* more came in on Tuesday, hence bringing the total to 209 crore*.

In terms of lifetime collections, the movie is now pretty much neck to neck with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo [210 crore]. Between now and tomorrow, the movie will definitely cross Chennai Express [227 crore] and Kick [232 crore] as well, hence turning out to be fourth highest grosser ever (after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom 3) in just 9 days. Incredible!

The movie has set huge benchmarks for more Bollywood movies to follow. Before the close of year, the only biggie that could challenge this feat is Dangal and Aamir Khan would have to come up with something truly special in the Christmas Day weekend. Till then, it is the voice of Sultan that would roar the loudest as there is no stopping the movie that is crossing newer frontiers with every passing day.

Your face is in someone's armpit or close to their butt during wrestling, makes me uncomfortable, reveals Anushka Sharma!

Much has been written about how Anushka Sharma learning to wrestle for her forthcoming movie Sultan, in which she plays a wrestler, but what many might not know is that the actress was really uncomfortable while learning the sport.

In a frank conversation with media personnel lately, Anushka told, “The thing is, though I was ready to begin wrestling, it's an extremely physical contact sport and you have to be very close to somebody. I had to train with a male wrestler and at one time, your face is in someone's armpit or close to their butt and as a girl and as an actor, you have your own sense of space and boundary. When someone comes too close to us, we feel uncomfortable and wrestling is much closer than that. So initially, I was not giving my best to the training session. I later decided that I need to overcome this feeling and give it my best shot after I saw the training session videos and realized that it was looking quite bad.”

Anushka will be paired opposite Salman Khan in Sultan, which is slated to release this Eid.

Salman Khan’s shyness in wearing a langot in upcoming film Sultan!

Salman Khan is known for his laid back and casual attitude (besides falling into unwanted controversies time and again). But director Ali Abbas Zafar feels in a different way. Speaking to a leading news agency, Zafar who is directing Salman Khan in the forthcoming Sultan shared that he found Salman tremendously dedicated during the making of the movie.

Ali Abbas Zafar articulated that even after going through the exhausting training sessions and workouts in the gym, the 50-year-old actor never complained. The director further shared a rather cute piece of news - apparently on hard days, Salman used to request for an ice cream. Not only that, but it seems that initially Salman was shy to wear a langot.

For the movie, Salman had to alter his weight from 100 kgs to 82 kgs as per the director's instructions. Seemingly "Sultan" is the first sports movie that Salman has done in his career. Zafar feels that Salman is the bible of bodybuilding.

I prepared for Sultan in less than six weeks, says Anushka Sharma!

Anushka Sharma, who will be next seen starring opposite Salman Khan for the very first time in YRF film Sultan, had a tough time preparing for the shooting as she just has less than six weeks to not only learn wrestling, but to develop a toned body and also learn Haryanvi.

Talking about her harsh preparation period, Anushka told, ''Those six weeks were crazy; I would be training in the morning, shooting in Film City and then coming back to Yash Raj studios for more training. People have this perception that wrestlers are huge, but when I researched about them, I realized that female wrestlers have toned bodies but are not necessarily big and I had to develop that toned physique for the role too.''
