I was the first one to support Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s release, says Ajay Devgn!

Its a big clash between Ajay’s Shivaay and Karan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Speaking about the clash, the 47-year-old actor told, “For me, it's fair enough, two big releases always happen and both will work hopefully. I've always supported the release of ADHM and I was the first one to do that in spite of all the controversies.”

Offering a explanation on all the disputes that have brewed around him, Ajay Devgn proclaimed, “Controversies are created not always by us... They are just created, misconstrued or done intentionally. They just happen and I don't want it to happen. I'm sick and tired. I don't even want to speak about it because it's just useless to talk about it.”

"You can't blame us every time for the controversies. Sometimes they have been created by the people. I have never attacked someone. I've been misinterpreted at times,” he further added.

Mr. Devgn was also heard clearing his stand on his not working with Pak artists statement and disclosed that he is not telling that he will never work with them, he only told it in sync with the present situation.

Shivaay that also stars Erika Kaar and Sayyeshaa Saigal is scheduled for an October 28 release.

Hindi Film Industry is very vulnerable where politics or nationalism is concerned, reveals Ajay Devgn!

Actor cum filmmaker cum director Ajay Devgn, who awaits the release of his "Shivaay" directorial endeavor, tells the Indian film industry is scared of politics because if a person speaks against any political party, his movie will be prohibited from releasing.

On October 28, "Shivaay" will clash at the box office with filmmaker Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", which is presently in news for featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

Previously famous stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan had faced a criticism on their comments on intolerance. Even filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt told lately that he will not work with Pakistani actors.

Questioned Ajay whether it is nationalism or fear behind such statements, he told, "Both. When it comes to nationalism, as I said, I stand by the country. When it comes to politics, an industry man gets a little scared. He gets scared because if today you say anything against a group, your film will be stopped, something will happen".

"We are very vulnerable where politics is concerned. Where nationalism is concerned, I don't think it (Bollywood) is divided... We want to stay away from politics because we are vulnerable. But when it comes about the nation, there I stand by it. But when politics is concerned, sometimes you say it, but most of the time you stay quite because of fear," he added.

Ajay alongside with his wife Kajol on Saturday took part in discussion at "Manthan" Aaj Tak to talk about the current political scenario of Bollywood and Pakistani actors.

Like numerous in the industry, Ajay too tells that till the time the tensions between India and Pakistan get better, he will not work with any artiste from that side of the border.

Sayyeshaa Saigal’s pretty and nice look in Shivaay as per Saira Banu!

Sayyeshaa Saigal, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu's grandniece, is ready to make her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay. She got candid when we questioned her about Dilip and Saira's 50th wedding anniversary and speaking about the celebrations, she told, "We had a very small family gathering and not too many people were there. You know 50 years is a lifetime, I told them that. It's truly a lot of time and they are the most loving couple I have seen on the planet. She is such a devoted wife."

"Phupho Nana (Dilip Kumar) is not keeping all that well these days and the amount of looking after she does and the devotion is like how we have for God. It's something we don't see in today's world. The devotion that they have for each other is something people should take from them," further added Sayyeshaa.

When we questioned her whether they both have watched the trailer or not - her answer to our query was simple. She revealed, "Yes, they have watched the trailer and even the song Tera Naal Ishqa. Phupho Nani found me pretty and also told that I looked nice. She really liked the way it was shot because it was shot beautifully."

We made the film in minus 25-30 degree where we couldn't even stand, reveals Ajay Devgn!

The Shivaay is simply the biggest movie to release in 2016. While there have been biggies like Sultan and successes like M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story, Airlift and Rustom at the Box Office, nothing can actually beat the scale at which Shivaay has been set. That by itself is an experience to cherish for Ajay Devgn who has been a part of the industry for 25 years now and has delivered quite a few hits and superhits in on a consistent basis. But with Shivaay, which Ajay admits to being a passion project, it is a different ballgame altogether as the biggie readies to arrive this Diwali.

This is the reason why there is sure hard work, commitment and dedication that is obvious when one watches the promos reveal for Shivaay.

"Well, if there was no dedication to the film then there was no point making it either. My entire team was so inspired that hum kuch kar ke dikhayenge. Otherwise to make a movie in minus 25-30 degree where you can't even stand and where even food can't reach is something you can't even imagine. It was tough for even the unit to reach the location and still they were all standing with me right through," Ajay tells in a proud voice.

"Shivaay is the name of my character. He is a mountaineer. Woh andar se shiv bhakt hai par aisa nahi who does pooja daily. Shivji ke kaafi imperfections hain. Wo bhaang peete hain, intoxicate hote hain. Unhe bhole-bhandaari kaha jaata hai. Many people say many things to him. However, jab unhe gusse aata hai toh he becomes a destroyer," tells Ajay.

He goes on to add, "Of course, jab galti karte hain toh regret bhi karte hain. We have incorporated many such imperfections into this character. When time comes then he uses these imperfections to become a destroyer. Isse zyaada aur kuch connection nahi hai between Shivaay and the title."

Film Shivaay is set to unfold on 28th October.

CBFC’s only one cut for Ajay Devgn's Shivaay!

Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay are set to release on October 28, 2016. Both the movies are certificated by the CBFC, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has got about five cuts, with a kiss and some lovemaking scenes have been reduced. The news has it, Shivaay has got only one cut from the Central Board of Film Certification.

A source disclosed, "Shivaay was screened on Thursday after ADHM was passed by the CBFC on Wednesday. Ajay Devgn has been at the Walkeshwar office of the Board for the last few days. Only the kiss and lovemaking scene (in the transparent tent hanging from a cliff) between Ajay and Erika Kaar has been trimmed a bit."

They said further, "The Board further felt that the film should get a U certificate as there was nothing else to warrant cuts. Even the violence and action scenes are not of the gory kind. It being a Diwali release, Ajay has made the film keeping family audiences in mind. He will get the CBFC certificate soon."

In the meantime, Shivaay's spokesperson denied the news saying, "We would like to clarify that the movie has not been screened yet in the censor board and the news is completely untrue and baseless."

A better film will take away the benefits, admits Ajay Devgn on Shivaay is clashing with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at box office!

If there is any competition at the ticket window that has caught everybody's attention, then it is undoubtedly the one between Ajay Devgn's Shivaay and Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Both movies are ready to hit the screens this Diwali and their promotions are going on in full-swing.
The two huge movies are going to clash; it is obvious that both movies will suffer. The business of the movies, had they released solo, would have been different.

Filmmaker and Director Ajay Devgn in Indore ahead of his movie Shivaay's trailer launch, he had said a close source that KJo is a friend and they both will talk and come out with a solution to avoid the clash. But that doesn't seem to have happened.

Enquire Ajay about the clash now and he tells, "The audience gets divided. Ultimately, what will happen is, we are not talking about the first day. It is a pre-Diwali day and we don't expect a very big number because people are busy. By the time you come to Monday, which is like the first day, audience will know which is a better film and that will take away all the benefits."

Directed by Ajay Devgn, Shivaay also stars debutantes Erica Kaar and Sayesha Saigal.

The comic book series on Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay with different tale!

Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn, who will be next seen playing a dare-devil rock climber in Shivaay, a movie that he has directed himself, will soon launch a comic book series based on the movie, which will be released on October 23 in Mumbai.

Approving the same, Devgn told that usually, films are inspired by comic books, but this time, a movie has inspired a comic series and that though the story in the book will not be the same as the movie, the protagonist would be the same. Supposedly, the comic book character will be seen undertaking a hazardous mission on behalf of the Indian government, while the movie will see Devgn's character fight bad guys to save his family.

Shivaay is set to release this Diwali along with Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Salman Talkies’ will free for children!

While not many of us remember the single screen theatre movie fun, Salman khan is all set to revive the experience by beginning his own private chain.

The chain named ‘Salman Talkies’ will make available the tickets at heavily subsidised rates. Seemingly, six single screen theatres from all over Maharashtra have been picked to initially start with.

Salman also intends to expand the chain in Uttar Pradesh by 2017. Talking about his aim with this move, a spokesperson from his Being Human Foundation told, “If his film has to hit a double hundred he wants to do it with Rs 100 tickets. If we can't touch that figure with this plan, we will try again with another film but Salman strongly believes that ticket prices should be brought down.”

A source close to the actor was also heard as telling, “Tickets for films at his theatres will be available at heavily subsidised rates and free for children. Salman will be launching each screen himself."

He further told, “He will be lending his name to a theatre chain to promote tax-free viewing.”

Remarkably, if everything could work timely Salman will kick-start the chain in Maharashtra with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay.

Second teaser poster for Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay'!

Ajay Devgn, who will return to the director's chair with Shivaay, in which he will star too, had disclosed the poster of the movie around a year or so back. The poster, which had been divulged, had featured a muscular Devgn showing off his tattoos and now, a year later, Devgn disclosed a teaser poster of the movie.

With a gloved hand reaching out to the top of a snow-capped mountain, the teaser hints at an adventurous film with some gravity-defying stunts. But, we wonder what is delaying the film so much as the first look poster of the film was revealed more than 12 months ago and the teaser poster is being revealed now.

Film Shivaay will revolve around the imperfections of Lord Shiva, which makes the God more relevant to his devotees.

Ajay Devgn beats hypothermia while filming at atop of Bulgaria!

Actor Ajay Devgn, who has been shooting his aspiring directorial endeavor Shivaay in Bulgaria, inspired everybody with his determination by beating hypothermia while filming atop Bulgaria's highest peak.

Devgn who suffered a bout of hypothermia while shooting, was advised bed rest for at least couple of days by the doctor, but he was back on the set after 30 minutes. Karan Johar’s 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' clashes with Ajay's 'Shivaay' on coming Dusshehra!

Bollywood is all set to see some fireworks en route the festive season, what with both Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn making brisk progress towards completion of their Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay respectively. Now in his Koffee With Karan chat on Twitter, Karan has further confirmed that he certainly plan to bring on his story about 'unrequited love' this Dusshehra and is in mood to change the release date.

"Yes, during the chat when a person warned him to 'run away from the scene' since Shivaay was arriving, Karan made a clear statement that read 'I never run! I walk tall...join me' (sic). The message was loud and clear here," reveals an observer.

This means that unless Ajay changes his arrival for Shivaay, the clash is on.

"It would be quite lethal though as both the biggies are multi-crore affairs," tells a trade insider, "Shivaay has been a dream project for Ajay and he has been shooting extensively in Bulgaria for the movie. The fact that he is returning as a director with this one makes the movie even bigger. On the other hand Karan has brought together Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan andAnushka Sharma for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and it is an important film for all involved. This is set to be love story of a different kind."

Both movies belong to different genres though and that brings some relief. But, both movies being biggies mean that the number of screens would have to be divided between the two.
