Even when I didn't have money, I used to still watch films, says Sujoy Ghosh on demonetization!

Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming directorial "Kahaani 2", isn't bothered about demonetisation. He tells whoever wants to watch the movie will watch it.

Asked if the movie will work at the time of demonetisation, Ghosh told here: "Whoever wants to watch the film will watch it... it is all about priorities. Even when I didn't have money, I used to still watch films."

The filmmaker tells difficult times keep coming and that he is hoping people will watch the film, which is scheduled to release on December 2.

"There are difficult times, some or the other problems keep coming up...People have liked the trailer a lot and we are expecting that they will turn up in good numbers," he told.

Starring Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal, "Kahaani 2" is the second instalment of the 2012 suspense thriller movie "Kahaani".

Bollywood’s beautiful Vidya Balan is presently busy promoting her next release, Kahaani 2 across numerous platforms. The actress, who is having a packed schedule, is busy city hopping, promoting her movie at different venues. 

First, Vidya was seen in Hyderabad, where she was seen in a burgundy colour suit, wearing her hair in a messy plait, big jhumkas and soft lilac lips. She was also seen connecting with her fans at a radio station, speaking about the movie. 

In her second appearance, the actress along with her Kahaani 2 director Sujoy Ghosh was seen in the city of joy - Kolkata. Opting for her trademark look, Vidya was seen in a tye and dye blue-red saree, sporting a big red bindi and hair tied in a messy bun. Sujoy decided for a laidback, casual look in his joggers, T-shirt, and pair flip-flops. 

Kahani 2 is ready for a December 2 release and also stars Arjun Rampal in an important role.

Bollywood’s talented actress Vidya Balan is back to create her magic on the 70 mm with Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani 2. Lately, the trailer was launched and the actor was loved for her impeccable and smooth performance. Vidya Balan, in the press conference, was her chirpy self and was replying all the questions. 

When questioned about the action and the difficulty level of it in the movie, Vidya replied by telling, "I love hitting, and punching and kicking. I get very few opportunities to do that. Especially when you have to do it to man, bohat mazza aata hai."

Vidya Balan opens up about being titled as female Aamir Khan!

The theatrical trailer of Vidya Balan's new movie Kahaani 2 released recently and we're already captivated. 

At the trailer launch, when Vidya was questioned about being the female version of Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, Vidya's reply was spot on!

She told, "My films should also do business like Aamir Khan Films, then main maanugi ki that I am the female Aamir Khan. But it's far away from the truth. Aamir has been working for many years."

Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, Kahaani 2 also stars Arjun Rampal and is scheduled to release on December 2, 2016.

Kahaani 2’s dark, edgy, pacy and mysterious trailer Unveiled!

Earlier in 2012, Sujoy Ghosh had thrilled us with Kahaani, a movie starring Vidya Balan, who essayed a mysterious avenger and now, the trailer of the sequel titled Kahaani 2, which was released recently, assurances to be a treat for enthusiasts of thrillers.

This time, the movie revolves around a cop named Indrajit (played by Arjun Rampal), who is investigating the life of Vidya or Durga Rani Singh (Vidya Balan), a victim of a hit and run accident, whose life seems to be a mystery wrapped in an enigma. As Indrajit tries to figure out her life through her personal diary, he starts realizing that there is more than what meets the eye, especially when he finds out that Durga, who also has a daughter, is wanted by the police for kidnapping and murder.

The promo is dark, edgy, pacy and mysterious enough to tease audiences into begging for more. Apart from Balan and Rampal, Kahaani 2 also stars Jugal Hansraj, who will be seen on the silver screen after a long time. If you had loved Kahaani, the sequel's trailer will unquestionably impress the hell out of you.

Vidya Balan’s wanted poster by the police on social media for Kahani 2!

Vidya Balan will be shaking hands with her Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh for Kahaani 2, the sequel to the thriller and the first look of the movie, which has been revealed just, has made us all the more keen about the movie and the plot.

The first look poster of the picture, which is in the form of a 'Wanted' poster, shows Balan in a de-glam look with the caption that she is wanted for kidnapping and murder by the police. From what we have heard, Balan's character Durga Rani Singh will be the subject of a police investigation led by Arjun Rampal's character in Kahaani 2. The prequel was a kick-ass thriller and unnecessary to say, we are quite curious to know that Ghosh has to offer this time around.

Arjun Rampal to play a helpful cop in 'Kahaani 2'!

Though it had been informed that Arjun Rampal will be next seen sharing screen space with Vidya Balan in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani 2, not much was disclosed about his character, but we have dug up some details on the same.

Rampal and Ghosh lately posted a selfie on Twitter after wrapping up the shooting of the movie and in the photograph, we can see that Rampal is seen wearing a police uniform with the name Inderjeet Singh and the designation Sub Inspector on the name tag on his pocket. Rampal is also seen sporting shades and a light stubble in the pic. In the prequel Kahaani, Parambrata Chatterjee had played a helpful cop, so we wonder if Rampal will play a similar supporting role in the movie.

Actress Vidya Balan, who is known for her acting skills, is not much of an expert when it comes to the kitchen, but it seems that her role in Kahaani 2 helped her learn a few dishes.

A source attached to the unit disclosed that in a few scenes of Kahaani 2, Vidya is seen making omlettes and as Vidya had to learn how to make them, she took the opportunity to also learn making a few South Indian dishes from her mother. Vidya will be sharing screen space with Arjun Rampal in Kahaani 2, which will be helmed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Vidya Balan, who had shared screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sujoy Ghosh's thriller Kahaani, will be reenacting her role in the sequel Kahaani 2, but this time, she is having Arjun Rampal as her co-star, we hear.

Ghosh, who is helming the sequel, took the movie on floors yesterday and told, ''In gratitude for the love you gave our first film, we will work even harder to live up to your expectations.'' In response to all the congratulatory messages that he received, Ghosh said, ''Thank you all so much for your wishes. feels good :) in an incredibly potty network area else would've replied to each one of your wishes.''

Kahaani 2 is also set in Kolkata and we are excited to see what Ghosh and Balan come up with this time.

Vidya Balan’s silence on Kahaani 2 due to life threat!

Vidya Balan, who had played a lively woman in Kahaani and will be seen reenacting her role in the sequel Kahaani 2, claims to be afraid for her life (actually no, she was joking when she said that!)

When asked to reveal information about her forthcoming sequel project, Vidya told that she is only allowed to disclose that they will begin shooting next month and that director Sujoy Ghosh has threatened to slit her throat if she discloses anything else about the project.

Vidya will be next seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in TE3N.
