Ram Madhvani’s search for the real Kohinoor diamond!

Ram Madhvani’s Neerja was based on the life of one of the bravest women in Indian history and his next film will be inspired by one of the most famous diamonds in the world.

Ram is making an adventure comedy about the search for the real Kohinoor diamond! The completely fictitious script will propose that the diamond that’s currently part of the British Crown Jewels is a fake, and two of B-town’s best will go on a hunt for the real heera. Ram has already pitched the script to Shahid Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan, who have both shown interest in it. I’ll keep you in the loop on this one!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan becomes a mob widow in Ram Madhvani's next?

Ram Madhvani, who shot to fame with his Sonam Kapoor-starrer Neerja, had planned to make a movie with Kajol on Dutch TV series titled Penoza about a Mob widow, who takes charge of the gang after her husband is assassinated.

But, when Kajol walked out of the project due to certain issues, it now seems that Ram is keen on signing up Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the role. As per news, the movie will revolve around the wife of a Mafia boss, who takes control of her husband's gang to protect her children after her husband is assassinated.

Aishwarya, who made her Bollywood comeback with Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa, was last seen in Sarbjit and will be next seen in Karan Johar's directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Neerja’s success comes with another union of Ram Madhavani and Atul Kasbekar for a comedy!

Ram Madhvani's newest directorial endeavor Neerja, which has been produced by Atul Kasbekar, has received rave reviews from the critics and a super response at the box-office and post the success of their Sonam Kapoor starrer, the twosome is planning to join forces again for another project.

Atul and Ram have found another script, which has thrilled both of them and they have now started working on it. The movie is expected to go on floors in August, this year.

Atul confirmed the news revealing, "Ram and I got together so well during the making of Neerja that I took it upon myself to flood him with ideas and scripts. Kindly, there's one he really liked and is under development. It's a completely different genre from Neerja and I can't wait to get started, for us like with Neerja an excellent script is the basis of making a motion picture and if it works out, this story has a massive franchise potential.''

Sources inform that their next is a comedy, for which casting will start next month.
