Film Dishoom’s plot is inspired from the attack on Sri Lankan cricketers in Pakistan!

Varun Dhawan, who will be next seen playing a rookie cop in brother Rohit Dhawan's forthcoming movie Dishoom, lately disclosed that the movie plot was developed following an actual incident.

Explaining on the same, Varun told that earlier, there was an attack on Sri Lankan cricketers in Pakistan (In 2009, a bus carrying Sri Lankan cricketers, part of a larger convoy, was fired upon by 12 gunmen, near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan when the cricketers were on their way to play the third day of the second Test against the Pakistani cricket team) and this triggered the idea of what would happen if India's top cricketer got kidnapped days before a crucial match.

Apart from Varun, Dishoom also stars John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna.

Alongside an item number, Parineeti Chopra also has a guest appearance in 'Dishoom'!

Actors Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra are soon going to share screen space in the forthcoming movie Dishoom. Apart from the special song, Parineeti, who is looking breath-taking post her makeover, has a cameo in the movie.

The teaser of the sizzling item number has already created a huge buzz and the two actors revealed the special song Janeman Aah. During the release of the peppy number, Varun revealed that apart from the song, Parineeti will be a part of the film as well. He said that Parineeti has a cameo in the movie and she plays his character, Kabir's love interest in the movie.

Dishoom also stars John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna. The film, which releases on July 29, is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Jacqueline Fernandez, who is generally well turned out, caught everybody's attention, when she arrived at the trailer launch of her forthcoming movie Dishoom, but sadly for all the wrong reasons.

Jackky sported a silver fitted ASOS skirt and teamed it with a black custom Deme crop top. While we really liked the skirt we had major issues with the upper. The shiny material, the sleeves and its cut, everything spelt tacky and made her look like a hot mess.

We know she has a banging body and she may have wanted to exhibit it but I'm sure there are better dresses available to show off those fab abs, she didn't need to come dressed in that disastrous top, which looked as if it was made from a garbage bag.

It was also pretty evident that she was very uncomfortable in that tube top, as she kept pulling it up continuously during the event.

Jacqueline Fernandez to play a kleptomaniac in her next 'Dishoom'!

John Abraham and Varun Dhawan will be seen playing cops in forthcoming movie Dishoom, there was not much information about female lead Jacqueline Fernandez, but now we have come across some details of the character that the Lankan beauty will play in the movie.

In an interview, Jacqueline disclosed that she will play a kleptomaniac on the run in the movie and also gushed about the fact that she will also get to do action sequences like the male leads in Dishoom, which has been helmed by Rohit Dhawan. For those who do not know this, kleptomania is the inability to refrain from the urge to steal items and is done for reasons other than personal use or financial gain.

Jacqueline will be next seen opposite Akshay Kumar in laugh riot Housefull 3.

Varun Dhawan motivates John Abraham for getting dumb-bell curves!

John Abraham is known for being a fitness fan, which is why were shocked and amused in equal parts to see Varun Dhawan scolding John to work out correctly on the sets of their forthcoming movie Dishoom!

Varun lately uploaded a short video clip on his Instagram page, in which Varun can be seen talking about a new actor in town who is training under him. The very next instant, one can see Varun inspiring Abraham on getting the right form and how he needs to push himself harder while he does dumb-bell curves.

Pointless to say, the video had us guffawing at Varun's cheeky side. The two actors will be seen playing cops in the movie, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez.

Varun Dhawan trains for driving boat with speeds of 200 km per hour!

Actor Varun Dhawan, who will be next seen playing a cop in forthcoming action musical Dishoom, will be seen performing some high-octane speed boating sequences in the movie and the actor has seemingly undergone training for the same.

Apparently, Varun wakes up early at 6 am and kicks off his training along with his trainer. This skill would be used by Varun in the action sequences of the movie. Approving the news, Varun told, ''The team has got me a trainer called Tony who has worked with several stuntmen for water-based action sequences. It's a big and expensive scene so I have to be very confident when I'm driving the speedboat. We have to clock speeds of 200 km per hour. I have had a couple of sessions already. It's a lot of fun to be hitting the waters at that speed.''

Directed by Varun's brother Rohit Dhawan, Dishoom also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Varun, John, Saqib and Nargis Fakhri have a gala time on Dishoom sets!

It's all fun and games for Team Dishoom - John Abraham, Nargis Fakhri and Varun Dhawan. It looks that the actors are making the most of their time on the sets of Dishoom.

Presently the cast and crew is in Abu Dhabi shooting. Nargis has shared a lot of pics on her Instagram account and it is pretty clear that she is having a lot of fun at the shoot along with John, Varun and Saqib Saleem.

Varun too has shared a pic on his Instagram welcoming Nargis to Dishoom.

Even Saqib Saleem added an image with Nargis Fakhri on his Instagram account and captioned it, "@nargisfakhri pouts and i just flex my biceps!! Things actors do waiting for their shot..#dishoom (sic)".

Nargis will be seen doing a guest appearance in the forthcoming film.

It is obvious that Team Dishoom is having a fun time whilst shooting it. Let's hope the movie turns out to be as enjoyable too.
