Sharvari's professional life has been anything from smooth. After two successful films with Munjya and Maharaj, she costarred in Vedaa with John Abraham. The picture had a terrible box office performance. Nonetheless, when asked about the situation, the Alpha actor sees herself as a "student" in terms of understanding the industry's finances.

In a media interview, Sharvari talked about the box office failure of her most recent film, Vedaa. In response, the actress provided two opinions. She stated that her heart was in the part and performance. "I really feel that the film had its heart in the right place," she disclosed.

Furthermore, in terms of business, the Alpha actress remarked that this is her third film to be released in theaters, so whether or not things work is out of her hands. "That is something I am still learning, and I am still a student of understanding how this translates and what is the right thing in terms of business," she further disclosed.

 Sharvari went on to say that her part was beyond her comfort zone. The actress called it as "difficult" and "challenging," and she was pleased that the audience appreciated it.

"I’m satisfied because I took a little leap of faith in my performance. It could have gone a hundred other ways. For it to have gone in the right way for me is a big win. I haven’t done drama, which is also very difficult, and this was a big success for me," she disclosed on a closing note.

Notably, Sharvari's Vedaa co-star, John Abraham, recently commented on the film's dismal reception. According to him, they wanted to communicate a message about a 'serious' subject. However, if people demonstrate no interest in such matters, he respects their decision.

John recently said that he used to spend Rs 6 on lunch in 1999 and that his first pay after earning an MBA was Rs 6,500.

Expanding on it, the Vedaa actor revealed that he later competed in the 1999 Gladrags Manhunt Contest, where he was judged by Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and Karan Kapoor.

John, whose take-home wage was Rs 11,500, remembered winning a cash prize of Rs 40,000 for placing first. The actor described his surprise at being given the "huge amount."

Next, questions about the 51-year-old actor's expenses and how he managed on a limited budget were raised. He disclosed, "My expenses were very less. My lunch would have 2 chapatis and dal fry; this was in 1999, and my food used to cost 6 rupees and 25 paisa."

The Vedaa actor recalled that he used to skip dinner and eat breakfast at home because he worked late shifts at his job. He spends money on food and petrol for his bike. John reflected on the times he traveled without a cell phone and instead used a rail pass.

The actor revealed that he used to invest in equity-based mutual funds when he first started his career.

John Abraham’s desire to explore sci-fi genre!

As per media updates, the sci-fi action movie 'Attack: Part 1', starring John Abraham, is all set to have its OTT premiere on May 27. 'Attack' is the first Indian super soldier movie that features high-octane action, romance, and drama. The movie, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandes and Rakul Preet, has been directed by Lakshya Raj Anand.

In a latest media chat, John talked about exploring the sci-fi genre in Bollywood and if he wished for other filmmakers to delve more into the genre. John was asked about his desire to explore sci-fi as a genre and his attempt to encourage more Indian filmmakers to consider this genre. John responded saying that he hasn’t let a way to inspire more filmmakers and actors to explore the genre of sci-fi and nor is he trying to give a competition to international action movies.

“Firstly, I am just doing what I believe in, so I am not encouraging filmmakers to explore a new genre. I just believe in this concept. Secondly, you can’t compete with Hollywood with their budgets. So, I am trying to make the best with the budgets I have,” John ended chat.

 

We’re not number two to anyone, says John Abraham on ‘Attack’ clashing with ‘RRR’!

Bollywood hunk John Abraham starrer Attack’s second trailer has been a complete entertainment package, like the first trailer. For the information, the film will clash with SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ which features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt in important roles. During the trailer launch event, John talked about ‘Attack’ clashing with ‘RRR’.

Talking on the screens being divided between RRR and Attack, John Abraham revealed, “We are not number 2 to anyone. We have a lot of respect for Rajamouli Sir but we have equal respect for our work.” During the event, he also opened up on working on the second installment of Attack. He said, “We intend to make a part 2. We have got a script ready. You can only decide to make a part 2 when the studio part is on board. So, we signed on for Attack 2 with Jayanti Bhai even before the release of Attack. I can’t comment on the commercial success of Attack, as am no trade expert, but I can say that we have made a very good film.”

Beside John Abraham, Attack also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Prakash Raj, and Ratna Pathak Shah in the lead. Attack is scheduled to release on April 1, 2022.

As per reports, Emraan and John will be seen in a gangster film which is set in the 1980s and 1990s when Bombay became Mumbai. The filmmaker mentions that this movie is pretty close to his heart and hence, it has a special place. As per a report in a daily, it will be a two-hero movie where there will be scenes of a cat and mouse chase between the two.

John specified that today's young actors are scared of failure and hence, they only want to work with top directors in the film industry. He told he doesn't fear failure even when he produces any film. He revealed, "I understand that today’s young crop of actors only want to work with A-list directors because outside of them, they are scared that they will fail. Without the top-line directors, they will fail, I can guarantee you. They don’t want to work with regular directors. Even as a producer I have no fear of failure because my content is strong and I know that a good director will manage to pull it off. The only actors who will work with new directors are Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. These two will work with anybody and everybody."

When quizzed about his unconventional movie choices, and what does he think when he begins a new movie, John revealed, "I cannot make formula films. What I do is when I choose a subject, I say ‘Hey, it’s difficult, how am I going to pull it off?’ Then I smile and decide ‘Then I’m going to do it!’ (laughs) — because it’s very clear that if it’s difficult and practically impossible to pull off, then I’ll do it, because I like non-formula. I have no fear of failure. At the most, what... I’ll fail, right? But people will say, ‘He attempted what normally people won’t attempt.’ I will keep doing that, till the industry permits me."

John revealed that his preferred genre is comedy, but as a producer, he is not well-equipped to bring about comedy movies like Welcome Back or Housefull 2. He said that it is important to do all kinds of movies as an actor.

Bollywood actor John Abraham is hectic with back to back movie releases. His last film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran was a hit at the box office. The team lately celebrated the success and now John is all set to start promotions of his forthcoming film Satyameva Jayate, by Milap Zaveri.

Bollywood star John Abraham’s last release, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran has received critical acclaim at the box office. The movie’s original producers and John Abraham were caught up in a murky battle regarding the movie. Both levelled accusations against the other.

There were hearsays in the media that Akshay Kumar who starred in the first film produced by the producers of Parmanu, did not support John against the producers with Parmanu.

A source had revealed to a daily, “When John was looking for support in his battle with Prernaa he immediately thought of Akshay who had collaborated with Prernaa over three films (Rustom, Toilet Ek Prem Katha and Padman). John’s association with Akshay goes back to almost a decade and he thought he would get complete support from Akshay.”

The source had further revealed, “Akshay had no complaints at all about his association with Prernaa. He saw no reason to join John’s fight against her. Even otherwise, Akshay likes to keep away from spats and controversies as much as possible.”

John cleared the air recently and posted, “Heard that my brother @akshaykumar and I are fighting..he would beat me up :) Sorry to disappoint but NO truth to this. The only explosions happening currently are on screen in Parmanu :)”

"It gives me great pride as an Indian to announce that my next film as a director 'Satyameva Jayate' releases this Independence Day August 15," Zaveri posted.

He also shared a photo featuring the lead actors. Manoj is seen pointing a gun at John who looks fearlessly into his face.

The movie promises intense action and power-packed dialogues.
