ABCD 3 required a non-dancer, tells Remo D'Souza on his next with Salman!

Remo D'Souza is a bonafide choreographer who changed the landscape of dance genre movies in Bollywood when he directed ABCD (2013) which has now become a cult amongst the masses.

"Whenever people talk of the genre, my name will come up first," Remo proclaimed proudly in an interview with a leading tabloid.

His next is a movie based on a father and his 13-year-old daughter and will have the theme of dancing. Salman Khan is onboard the project and the movie will roll out early next year.

Talking about choosing Salman for the movie, Remo said, "Salman (Khan) is a good dancer, and has the drive to become better. I could have taken a trained dancer, but this movie required a non-dancer or at least someone who isn't known for his dance skills. Salman is spot on for the part. He is aware that he can't do something simple and get away with it. People feel 'Salman belt hila deta hai and a step is made.' But this will be different."

"With Salman on board, we can be a bit relieved. He notices and pinpoints the smallest things and tweaks them to better the story. The first time I narrated the script to him, he was overwhelmed. He liked it so much that the story stayed with him. It's a beautiful script and we have worked hard on it," Remo added.

Salman's camaraderie with children was evident on screen when he starred alongside Harshaali Malhotra in Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. So for Remo's next, the 13-year-old girl will be chosen for how well her camaraderie is with Salman.  Remo said, "We know exactly what we are looking for. Our auditions will start in a month. Her camaraderie with Salman, more than dancing skills, will get her the part."

I'm pretty sure Salman Khan can pull off anything, reveals Remo D'Souza!

Recently, media was widespread with the news of actress Jacqueline Fernandez being roped in opposite Salman Khan in Remo D'Souza's next which was titled ABCD 3. But, Remo disparaged the news on Twitter, later on.

Now, a famous daily caught up with the choreographer-turned-director and questioned him about his forthcoming dance movie with Salman Khan and the details about ABCD 3.

Fascinatingly, Salman Khan, who is presently promoting Tubelight, began the prep for Remo's film in March itself. The actor is apparently, leaving no stone unturned for the movie and is learning various dance styles. Remo confirms, "It is a dance film and Salman has been training in different styles; all the dance forms will be a surprise for fans so I don't want to reveal them yet. I'm waiting for Salman to get done with the promotions of his next film. That's when I will know his dates and we will go on the floors accordingly."

He further added, "I am pretty sure Salman can pull off anything. As a dancer, he always does exactly as he is told by the choreographer."

Remo, formally sacked the reports of having cast Jacqueline as the leading lady opposite Salman Khan and disclosed, "The heroine has not been finalised yet. We will have a name in the next few days."

When questioned if the movie is the third part to his hit franchise ABCD, and D'Souza clarifies, "I am planning for ABCD 3 around June next year. While we haven't chalked out the details yet, we might just go with the leads of ABCD 2, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor."

Quiz him if A Flying Jatt would have a sequel and Remo ends conversation by saying, "I would love to make it but as of now there's nothing planned with Tiger Shroff as yet."
