The search for a leading lady opposite Salman Khan seems to
have ended for director Kabir Khan. News is that actress Katrina Kaif will star
opposite Salman Khan in the movie Tubelight.
The movie is a period drama set across the Indo-China
border. Apparently actress Deepika Padukone was offered the role and she
declined it as she felt her role in the movie was not meaty enough. Kabir Khan,
however, denied this saying that he never approached the leggy lass for the
role.
Kabir, Salman and Katrina have teamed up for Ek Tha Tiger in
the past.
