Diana Penty to share BTS glimpses from Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Adbhut’s set!

Well-known star Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Adbhut was pronounced last year. The film also stars Diana Penty, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Rohan Mehra in the lead role. The film is helmed by Sabbir Khan. He had revealed the first look of the thriller movie and called it the 'most shocking film of the year'. The teaser gave a glimpse of all four actors. While sharing the teaser, Nawazuddin had posted, "The #ADBHUT journey begins! Recently, Diana Penty posted a few glimpses from the set as she shot for the movie Adbhut. Taking to the stories section of Instagram, she posted a few behind-the-scenes (BTS) glimpses. A short video showed the crew on the set. Another Instagram story featured the lights from the set. Even one of her pics featured director Sabbir Khan.

Bhumi Pednekar’s thrilling moments for ‘Afwaah’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui!

Bollywood’s well-known stars Bhumi Pednekar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will soon be starting their quirky thriller directed by Sudhir Mishra. Titled Afwaah, the movie was pronounced sometime back and this is the first time Bhumi and Nawazuddin will be uniting.

Recently, in a media chat, Bhumi disclosed that she has waited long for a chance to work with Nawazuddin.

She revealed, "I have waited long for an opportunity to work with Nawaz sir. He is a stalwart in cinema and one of the best actors in the country. I am going to learn so much from him. Working with Sudhir sir has always been on my bucket list. I think he’s an actor’s dream director.”

While details of the movie and their characters are under wraps, the movie will go on floors in Rajasthan's Alwar. A source revealed that Bhumi will be playing a layered character. "It is perhaps one of the most challenging and powerful roles of Bhumi’s career. It’s a layered character that gradually unfolds as the screenplay unravels," a source revealed.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vishal Bhardwaj to unite first time for a romantic-drama!

As per media reports that the versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and a peculiar filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj duo is gearing up to collaborate for a romantic-drama. Furthermore, both are extremely excited to work with each other on this one.

“Vishal narrated the story to Nawaz recently and he loved it. The film is untitled as yet, but with Vishal backing the project he will come up with a very unique title for the movie. The leading lady is yet to be cast, but Vishal has a few names in his mind. With the pandemic, there is always an uncertainty around shooting schedules, but if all goes as per plan then the film might roll by end of the year,” reveals a source.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tamannaah Bhatia to share their Swaggy Chudiyan from Bole Chudiyan!

Gifted actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is presently hectic gearing up for his next movie Bole Chudiyan, which will mark his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui's directorial debut. Tamannaah Bhatia was lately introduced as the new female protagonist. Bole Chudiyan will also feature filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Rajpal Yadav in key roles.

As per reports, the movie is a romantic drama that spins around the love story between a bangle-seller, essayed by Nawaz, and a village girl, played by Tamannaah.

Recently, both took to their social media handles to share a sneak peek from Nawaz’s recording session. In the short clip, the actor can be seen standing in front of a mike as Tamannaah walks in looking stunning. The two are quite for a while with their eyes doing all the talking, and then Nawaz begins his rap in a desi dialect, to woo his lady love. The caption of the post reads: “Excited to share the teaser of my first ever Rap song #Swaggychudiyan with @tamannaahspeaks for #BoleChudiyan directed by @shamasnawabsiddiqui.”

The actor will do a cameo as an exorcist in a song in the latest part of the series. The song will also feature the comedy’s core cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Rana Dagubbati and Pooja Hegde, plus 300 disciples of the Baba played by Nawaz! The critic’s darlings are teaming up for an adaptation of Manu Joseph’s bestseller Serious Man, which tells the fictitious story of a poor slumdweller who works for a brilliant astronomer. Sudhir bought the rights to the novel about ambition and aspiration two years ago, and since then he’s been working and reworking the script for it. Pankaj Tripathi reveals plot of Sacred Games Season 2!

Sacred Games is an original Indian web series. The show received enormous praise and popularity globally, but also received criticism from a few sections of the society.

The first season of the series concluded with a mind-numbing suspense, and admirers of the show are already demanding a second season. While the makers have verified that the series will be spread across four seasons, there has been no official pronouncement as to when will the second season air.

Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who had made a brief appearance in the first season as the 'Guruji', has dropped some key hints about the forthcoming storyline.

Nawaz essays the character of Ganesh Gaitonde, a gangster, and had referred to Guruji as his 'teesra baap' (third father) in the series. While talking to a daily, Pankaj Tripathi revealed that his character Guruji will become the mastermind behind the chain of events in the second part.

He disclosed, "Guruji is a larger-than-life part and will become the most sought-after character in the series. My character becomes as big as Gaitonde." In one of the episodes in season 1, the character Gaitonde had said that Guruji taught him the tricks of the trade, but he had also cheated Gaitonde.

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a gifted actor. He has paved his way into the movie industry with hard work and willpower and is now ruling all over it. Nawazuddin will be seen in a negative role in the forthcoming web series Sacred Games, which is based on Vikram Chandra’s novel by the same name.

In a media conversation with a daily, talking about Sacred Games and he revealed, "Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, who are the directors, had narrated the script to me earlier. They had told me how they wanted to create the character and take it ahead. During the shoot, I used to make someone sit and read out the novel to me."

Speaking about the character Ganesh Gaitonde, he revealed, "See, if you want to categorize him, then he’s a gangster. But I don’t think of such tags. He comes to Mumbai from a small village in Konkan with big dreams. Maybe his path is not right because his surroundings have been like that. He manages to escape unhurt from a lot of things, so he starts believing that he’s invincible. That’s how I have approached the role. I didn’t play him with a certain attitude just because he’s a gangster. That’s how I approach every character."

Speaking about what appeals him to play dark or grey characters, Nawazuddin revealed, "Black or white characters have no shades. It’s the grey characters who are colourful. White characters - the heroes - have nothing to do. They just keep standing like sticks, while the others around them adorn the film. There is no fun in that. Hollywood actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino have mainly played characters with grey shades. That’s where you get to see what the actor is all about. Even I am selfish. I prefer grey characters because there is more scope in them."

Nawazuddin Siddiqui follows Balasaheb Thackeray’s mannerisms and style?

Bollywood’s successful versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the known face now in Hindi film industry. The actor has showed his talent in movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur (1 and 2), Badlapur, Raman Raghav 2.0 and several others.

As informed by a tabloid, the actor is being considered to essay the role of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s autobiography in a book!

Everyone knows that Nawazuddin Siddiqui overcame many obstacles to bring his undeniable talent to Indian cinema, but no one knows the real details of his struggle.

Now Nawaz is going to give us a first person’s account of the story in an autobiography titled The Incredible Life Of The Drama King Of India. The book is being written in collaboration with the journo Rituparna Chatterjee, and the tale will kick off during Nawaz’s days growing up as a zamindaar’s son in UP. This one has bestseller written all over it!  

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz deals with uncomfortable truths, reveals writer!

Film "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz", which has been in the news for the 48 cuts suggested by the censor board, projects some uncomfortable truths about society, tells its writer Ghalib Asad Bhopali.

Bhopali said that while writing the movie he never imagined the rural movie will land in any controversy.

The trailer of the film gives a hint of the intimacy and abusive language used in the film.

Questioned if he had kept the consequences at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in mind while writing the film, Bhopali told, "No. The film is the reflection of our society where the character Babu played by Nazaw bhai is a contract killer because he lived through poverty all his childhood. Our film deals with some uncomfortable truths of the society, it's nothing titillating."

The writer told he researched and met many people in real life to give shape to the story of "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz".

Giving an insight, he told, "There are people whom we call criminal because of their activity... But what they did is probably not by choice. In our film, the character said that he killed a man throwing stones because of two bananas, as the child was hungry for days... And he learnt to use pistols from other inmates in jail. So, you understand what I mean? Unfortunately, when children took up guns and start getting into crime no one warned them about what they are doing, and later they got stuck."

According to him, none of the criminals he has come across so far feels proud of their work rather they regret, but cannot get out of the vicious cycle that they are in.

"We have seen one slice of the crime world in Indian cinema which is quite glamorous. This story ('Babumoshai...') shows another side of that world. If you think it is dirty and uncomfortable, that is what our society is. You know, it reminds me of Sadaat Hasan Manto who once said, 'If you cannot bear these stories then the society is unbearable'.", writer further added.

Film "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz" is scheduled to release on August 25.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's terrifying look in MOM’s new poster!

After Rajkummar Rao who astonished us with his mind blogging makeover for Raabta, it is Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is giving us the chills. How, you ask?

Using prosthetics, Nawazuddin has now donned a semi-bald, crooked avatar for his forthcoming release, MOM. With his intense gaze, he seems to be playing the bad guy who is all set to terrify us. Holding a suitcase, the bespectacled man has an aura of mystery around him and the look somehow reminds us of the yesteryear villains. However, his role has not been revealed as yet, which adds to our curiosity.

"Things may not be what they seem. #LooksCanBeDeceptive @MOMTheMovie @SrideviBKapoor @ZeeStudios_," posted Nawaz while sharing his look from the film.

All we can say is trust Nawaz when it comes to getting into the skin of a character totally. 

Speaking about his character, Nawaz had previously told, "We worked on the look for 15 days before we finalised it. The director Ravi Udyawar planned something different. Normally, the character is created first and then the look but for Mom, it was the other way round. We tried various looks with how my character would walk and talk and his mannerisms. We used prosthetics and the entire process would take almost three hours to put on and remove. Moreover, shooting in Mumbai and Delhi during the day, when it is incredibly hot."

Mom also marks the comeback of classic actress Sridevi after 5 years. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Pitobash Tripathy in key roles. 

Produced by Boney Kapoor, the movie is all set to hit the theatres on June 7, 2017. 

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s legal notice to a magazine for maligning his image!

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's look as the controversial writer Sadat Hassan Manto in Nandita Das's recent short movie is presently creating a lot of buzz. But, recently reports of his fallout with wife Anjali Siddiqui started doing the rounds and seems like an article by a famous tabloid did not go well with the actor.

As per to a famous tabloid, Nawazuddin has sent out a legal notice to a leading magazine over an article posted by them on March 8, 2017. In the article, the actor is shown with a “mystery” woman, with the write-up suggesting that he is dating her. 

In the notice, the actor is believed to have written that the article has caused “unwarranted and uncalled for mental torture, trauma and inconvenience” to him. Siddiqui's legal team has given seven days to the magazine to apologize and release an explanation on the same.

Nawazuddin has also repudiated rumours about trouble in his marital paradise.

At a latest event, the actor was asked his opinion on the ongoing nepotism debate. Replying to it, Nawazuddin told, "I don't think nepotism exists in Bollywood otherwise I could not have been in this position today. Good work and talent may take the time to get recognized but always earns respect."

On the film front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will next be seen essaying the role of a contract killer in his forthcoming Babumoshai Bandukbaaz. Directed by Kushan Nandy, the movie stars Bidita Bag, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Roopa Ganguly, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Biswajit Chakraborty in pivotal roles.

Director Sohail Khan wants sequel of Freaky Ali 2 with Nawazuddin again!

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui got a lot of praise for his act as an amateur golfer in Sohail Khan's directorial Freaky Ali. 

Now as per a famous daily, the makers of the movie are planning for a sequel to the movie with Nawaz in the lead. Speaking about it, a source disclosed, "Sohail has shared the idea with Nawaz, to which he has given his nod. Nawaz wrapped up Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and is now shooting for Munna Micheal alongside Tiger Shroff."

They further added, "After that he will start Chandamama Door Ke with Sushant Singh Rajput. The sequel of Freaky Ali will have to happen only after the other commitments. We’re looking at second half of 2017."

Earlier informed that Sushant Singh Rajput will be a part of Chandamama Door Ke. Now, according to leading magazine, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also be joining Sushant for Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan's upcoming sci-fi movie. It follows a team of Indian astronauts who have been sent out on a mission. A fictional space program culminates in India's first astronaut landing on the moon in 2018.

Speaking about it, Nawazuddin told, "It’s a futuristic story never attempted in Bollywood. I enjoy trying with new things and do not want to attach myself to any particular genre."

Nawazuddin further added, “The physical prep will be extensive as we will have to practice moving around in an astronaut’s uniform and dealing with anti-gravity situations. It is going to be a difficult role but I am super excited!” 

“Sushant and I know each other well. But we’ve both been busy and not met in a long time. We will have a script reading session together soon,” Nawaz finished chat.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who will be seen sharing screen space with Tiger Shroff for the very first time in Sabbir Khan's Munna Michael, will be seen in a totally changed avatar in the movie.

We have found that Nawaz, who is mostly seen wearing regular attires in his movies, will be seen sporting a leather jacket, boots, bling earrings and sunglasses in the movie. Approving the news, Nawaz also added that apart from showing off his dance moves in the movie, he will also have a love track and that he has had enough of edgy roles and wants to be a romantic hero now.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is ready to star in Tiger Shroff starrer Munna Michael. The actor will be get into a new avatar of a dancer in the movie. Both the actors will be seen challenging each other in a dance competition.

To a close source, Nawaz told, "Tiger ko naachte dekh mujhe bukhar aa gaya. He can move every part of his body, he's an amazing dancer!"

His look from the movie was revealed and the actor looks dapper in a T-shirt, leather jackets, bling earrings and sunglasses. Nawazuddin further spoken about his look, "I'm tired of the intensity. Bus ho gaya maar-dhaad aur khoon. There's a lot of romance, apart from the dancing, in this film. I want to play a romantic hero."

This is Nawaz and director Sabbir Khan's first film together. When asked about Sabbir, the talented actor said, "Sabbir makes commercial films but he's focused on detailing, doesn't overdo things on the set and wants the movie to look realistic. I like it when directors don't play to the galleries."

The movie is scheduled for a release next year on July 7, 2017. 

Nawazuddin Siddiqui recalled the freakiest thing as stealing money from dad's pocket to watch movies!

Brilliant actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was last seen playing a psychotic killer in Raman Raghav 2.0, will be next seen playing a street-smart goon, who turns into a professional golfer in Freaky Ali and considering the title of the movie, we had to ask Nawaz about the 'freakiest' thing he has ever done in his life.

When asked to name the 'freakiest' thing he has ever done during an interview, Nawaz told, ''I have done many things which can be termed as freaky, but for me, stealing money from my dad's pocket to watch movies tops the list. As a child, I was so addicted to watching films that I would regularly flick money from my father's wallet and go watch movies, which were of the 'C-Grade' variety!''

Nawaz will be seen romancing Amy Jackson in Freaky Ali, which has been directed by Sohail Khan and also stars Arbaaz Khan.
