Actress Sridevi has been busy with the promotions of her film
MOM. The thriller is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor. It
also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in
lead roles, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance.
Sridevi, who essays a mother of two girls in the movie, has
been thrilled about her movie. Sridevi is also the mother of two beautiful
girls in real life. During a latest interview, Sridevi spoke about her own
family and the loving bond that they share. She stated that there is so much
love in their home that her daughter Jhanvi wishes that her man be just like
her dad.
Sridevi told, "After my parents passed away, Boneyji has
been my father, mother and husband. We've been married for 22 years but even
today, people tell me his eyes light up when he talks about me. I take credit
for that, I've worked really hard. I
bully him and so does he, but all in jest. Jhanvi says she doesn't find such
happiness in her friends' homes and wants a man just like her dad."
Lately Sridevi was in the news when she told that she would
rather see Jhanvi married and settled down as Bollywood is a very uncertain
place. However, she later issued a clarification saying that she did not mean
that girls are only meant to get married and settle down. "I have always
told my daughters not to be dependent on anyone in any capacity," Sri had
clarified.
