Anurag Kashyap prefers working with newcomers instead of established stars!

Eccentric director Anurag Kashyap, who generally prefers working with newcomers as opposed to established stars, finally opened up about why he likes to work with newcomers.

During a chat session at the Film Festival, Anurag told that he likes to work with newcomers as he makes small-budget movies and with newcomers, one can shoot on streets without worrying about a mob gathering to look at the actors and disturbing the proceedings. Kashyap also further added that he is not fascinated with the thought of launching an actor.

TV Channel make an apology to Tannishtha Chatterjee for the racist comments!

A day after Parched actress Tannishtha Chatterjee took to her Facebook page to lash out at the makers of a comedy show for poking fun at her dusky skin during the promotions of her movie, the channel submitted an official apology to the actress on Twitter.

The official Twitter handle of the channel posted, ''Dear @TannishthaC It is rather unfortunate that what you had expected to be a fun and novel experience turned out to be traumatic for you on the sets of Comedy Nights Bachao.”

Why isn't Kajol a part of Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'?

Director Karan Johar and actress Kajol have always been the best of buddies and the latter has always been a part of the former's movies, even if it was a cameo and so, there was a news that Kajol will have a cameo appearance in Johar's upcoming directorial endeavor Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

But, we have now learned that Johar did not approach Kajol at all for a cameo in the movie and that even if he had, Kajol would have turned down the offer as ADHM will clash with Ajay Devgn's directorial endeavor Shivaay this Diwali and appearing in Johar's movie would have led to a conflict of interest, which Kajol seemingly wanted to avoid.

But, we have heard that Johar's best buddy Shah Rukh Khan might be seen playing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's deceased husband in the movie, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan.

It looks that it was none other than 'Captain Cool' Dhoni, who advised Sushant's name for the lead role in his biopic. Dhoni seemingly felt that no other actor could do justice to a realistic biopic and so, was rather keen that Rajput be signed up for this role.

Sonakshi Sinha takes fitness seriously after inspiration from John!

Sonakshi Sinha, who was last seen performing action scenes in Akira, will be next seen opposite John Abraham in Force 2 and the actress, who was previously criticized for being overweight, finally disclosed the name of the actor, who made her take fitness seriously.

In an interview to a leading newspaper, Sonakshi told that when she was working on Force 2 with John Abraham, she got inspired by his dedication to fitness and it was after watching him that she decided to take fitness quite seriously. Sonakshi, who will play the role of a RAW agent in Force 2, also further added that John behaves like a fitness trainer for the whole team while on the sets of a movie.

Force 2 is scheduled to release on November 18 this year.

Much-admired filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who is known for making hard-hitting movies based on social issues, just took to Twitter to inform his fans about his next project and to dispel numerous rumors about his upcoming movies.

Taking to his Twitter page, Madhur posted, ''Just to clarify, right now i am not making any film called "Bollywood wives" or "Air hostess". My next is on d backdrop of Emergency in 1975.” Previously, there had been reports that Madhur and Priyanka Chopra were planning to come together for Madamji, a political movie about a woman's rise to power.

Madhur's last release Calendar Girls had not made much of a splash at the box-office.

Akshay Kumar was rusticated from school for saying ‘I want to marry her’ to teacher!

Akshay Kumar, who is often called the Khiladi of Bollywood, was a real player as a kid too, from what we have heard lately.

During the trailer launch of Marathi movie Kaul Manacha, Akshay told, ''When I was in the 6th standard, I used to have a crush on my Marathi teacher and once, when she was teaching us, I told my classmate sitting next to me that I want to marry her. The teacher saw us conversing and when she asked us what we are talking about, my classmate directly said that I like her and I want to marry her!''

Akshay revealed that he was quite embarrassed by this, particularly when the teacher summoned his parents and he was rusticated from school for two days for this.

Ranbir Kapoor imitates Salman's steps on a reality show!

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan may go out of their ways to shun each other due to the problems created by the fact that both these actors dated Katrina Kaif at different points of time, but that did not stop Ranbir from imitating Salman while on a reality show.

Ranbir, who had appeared as a guest on a reality show, was asked to shake a leg with one of the judges and while dancing with Shakti Mohan, Ranbir picked up her gown with his teeth, similar to what Salman had done in the Jumme Ki Raat song from Kick. Earlier, a video clip showing a constable saving a woman from falling under a train at Lonavala railway station went viral and Pawan Tayde is the name of the constable, who showed presence of mind and rushed to drag her out of the gap between the train and the platform when she fell off the train. Actor Arshad Warsi discloses why Akshay Kumar replaced him in Jolly LLB 2!

Arshad Warsi, who had played a bumbling lawyer in Subhash Kapoor's legal satire Jolly LLB, has been replaced by Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 2 and Warsi finally opened up about why he lost out on the sequel project.

In a recent interview to a magazine, Arshad told that in his opinion, had his last movie Guddu Rangeela worked, he might have bagged Jolly LLB 2 too, but as the film tanked, the makers of Jolly LLB 2 decided to sign up Akshay Kumar for the role. Warsi but added that he is not sad or depressed about not being a part of the sequel project.

Forthcoming dramatic thriller 31st October starring Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan, marks the comeback of legendary singer Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, who has lent his voice to the song titled Maula in the movie.

For the information, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan is known for having trained several noted playback and classical singers including Asha Bhosle, Geeta Dutt, Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Alisha Chinai and A.R Rahman among several others and his two pupils took to their Twitter pages to gush about their Guru and his song.
