The film traces the journey of Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni and how he managed to be one of the most successful skipper-batsman from being a TC. The story is about that anyone can fulfil his or her passion if has the determination and true will. 

There is a good news for all the Sushant and Dhoni fans as the film has become the second highest grosser of 2016. M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story has earned INR 129.5 crore at the domestic box office and has also crossed Akshay Kumar's Airlift's collection. Akshay's film stands at INR 129 crore. 

Though Salman Khan's Sultan is still leading the box office, but Sushant's film doesn't seem to run out of steam anytime soon!

Sushant Singh Rajput is elated these days as his newest release MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has created quite a stir at the box-office and the actor will soon jet off to Delhi to watch the movie with his family.

Sushant Singh Rajput will be holding a special screening for his family and friends in the national capital and he has warned them to not watch the movie without him.

Rajput tells, ''I have given an ultimatum to my family... no one should watch the film without me. I am really looking forward to seeing their reactions first hand. Entire family is coming together tomorrow on 4th October and we all would be watching the film together."

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie is Indian cricket team’s captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic and it has earned Rs. 66 crore in its opening weekend.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che, will be next seen playing the lead role in MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, which is based on the life of Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and we have got some astonishing news for fans of Sushant and Dhoni.

It looks that it was none other than 'Captain Cool' Dhoni, who advised Sushant's name for the lead role in his biopic. Dhoni seemingly felt that no other actor could do justice to a realistic biopic and so, was rather keen that Rajput be signed up for this role.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, MS Dhoni-The Untold Story is slated to release this weekend.

Much-admired director Neeraj Pandey, known for helming hits like A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby, veered away from crime movies to make MS Dhoni-The Untold Story and Pandey recently spoke about why he prefers working on stories that are real.

Neeraj told, ''I like my stories to be rooted in reality. I love the fact that I'm talking about something that concerns you, me, or a person sitting outside my office. I like it when my stories can show something that has resonance in our lives. I feel comfortable with them, and also I feel they (the stories) need to be talked about.''

Based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, MS Dhoni-The Untold Story stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.

The makers of forthcoming movie MS: Dhoni: An Untold Story are stunned with the audience's response to their film's trailer and now, they are planning to release the movie in multiple languages to capitalize on Indian cricket team's captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's countrywide acceptance.

The makers also want to dub the movie in Marathi to release in the state of Maharashtra but, their decision has rubbed the Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (CKS), the film affairs wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), the wrong way and the members of CKS have objected to this move as they believe that it would affect the regional films' market in the state.

Apparently, CKS chief Amey Khopkar took the call after he received frantic calls from some Marathi film producers, who believe that this will start a trend and more and more filmmakers will start releasing dubbed version of their movies, which will sooner or later hamper Marathi films' business.

The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer has already been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.

The delay is finally over as the trailer of Neeraj Pandey's forthcoming movie M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story has been revealed and it lives up to all the hype.

  

The movie is a biopic on Indian cricket team's captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sushant Singh Rajput is playing the titular role in it. The movie ensnares Dhoni's voyage from childhood to being the cricket sensation that he is today.

Sushant has bowled us over with his power-packed act and the cherry on the cake is that he is actually looking like Dhoni. It seems SSR has worked really hard to get into the skin of his character as not only has he got the accent right, but has also learned the skipper's wrist work and fielding style for the film.

Anupam Kher has played Dhoni's father in the film, while Kiara Advani has played the role of his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni. We are sure Mahi will be really proud of his biopic and the makers too can be rest guaranteed that they have a winner in their hands.

The movie is all set to hit the theaters on September 30.

Sushant Singh Rajput and MS Dhoni share a common passion for bikes!

Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing the role Indian cricket team's captain MS Dhoni in his biopic MS Dhoni – An Untold Story and when the actor lately met the cricketer, they both recognized that they share a common passion for bikes.

The two bonded over bikes and chatted how they struggled to buy their first one. It wasn't easy for Dhoni to buy his first bike, as he was a humble TTE at Kharagpur station, before he became the cricket sensation that he is today. While Dhoni had to wait a lot to buy his first bike, Sushant too struggled for his first vehicle. His first motorcycle was a second-hand Honda CBR, which he bought with the money that he earned by giving private tuitions. Today, Dhoni has the swankiest bikes parked in his garage and Sushant too is the proud owner of a BMW K1300r.

Sushant further adds, "Yes, Dhoni is also extremely passionate about bikes, just like me. When two bike lovers start discussing bikes, be sure that it will be a long conversation which we have had many. In my college days, I started giving tuition classes to be able to afford a second hand bike, which I was very proud of. Even though I am very attached to my new bike, the first one will always remain very special."

Much has been written about how Sushant Singh Rajput practiced cricket for hours and also scrutinized many cricket matches in which Mahendra Singh Dhoni had played to get his mannerisms right for his forthcoming movie MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, but what many might not know is that the actor also spent time with Dhoni's ticket collector friends to get to know more about his life before he became a cricketer.

A source attached to the movie disclosed that as Dhoni had been a ticket collector with the Indian Railways before pursuing his passion for cricket, Sushant too hung out with his colleagues from those days and also stayed with them for a few days in their railway quarters instead of at a plush hotel while researching the character. Sushant not only spent time sitting and interacting with them, but also traveled with them in trains secretly and observed their body language and their style of talking.

Approving the news, Rajput told, “Apart from undergoing hard core preparation to play cricket like Dhoni, there was a different kind of effort that went into understanding his life before he became India's Captain Cool! Three of his roommates have been of phenomenal help to me. They let me come in their work space in the trains, let me stay in the same railway quarter and also told me a lot of stories about Dhoni which helped me make my performance more nuanced. I was extremely fascinated."

Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be next seen playing the lead role in MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, had put in his 100 per cent for the role and we hear that besides practicing cricket for hours, Sushant also spent a lot of time watching Dhoni's matches to get his body language and mannerisms right.

A close source revealed, ''Sushant nearly watched 1500 hours of cricket to get Dhoni's mannerisms right. The actor was hell bent on getting every bit of Dhoni the right way and made sure that he has seen every match in which the Indian skipper has played. Sushant even caught up on cricket matches while traveling. In fact, he also made sure to watch matches at the stadium, whenever he could.''

Helmed by ace director Neeraj Pandey, produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star studios, the movie which is one of the most expected movies of the year is all set to release on September 2nd, 2016.

Sources claim that recently, Rajput batted for three hours in the nets without getting out, which impressed Kiran More, who gifted a jersey to the actor. Taking to his Twitter page, Sushant proudly told, ''My Guru #kiranMore gifted me his jersey after I was Not out for 3hrs in nets. @jockmore."

Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be seen essaying the lead role in MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, which is based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, uploaded a new poster of the movie on his Twitter page today.

The new poster features Sushant wearing a Ticket Collector's uniform and standing on a crowded railway platform. Remarkably, the previous two posters have also focused on Dhoni's days as a Ticket Collector and not as a cricketer. The teaser of the movie will be revealed today evening on Star Sports.

Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be seen playing the lead in MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, which is based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, revealed the official poster of the movie.

Taking to his Twitter page, Sushant posted, ''The Man You Know. The Journey You Don't. You need to know his story.''

The poster of the movie features a white-clad and long-haired Sushant sitting on railway platform bench in a pensive pose. The poster also has the tag- 'the man you know, the journey you don't.'
