Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali pulled a casting coup when
he signed Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor for his next
Padmavati but, dealing with three megastars together is no mean feat.
When two stars work together, ego clashes are common and
that's what Bhansali is dealing with these days. Shahid demanded a hefty sum to
play the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and he also asked SLB to make his role
meatier. Bhansali obliged and had to make certain changes in the script, which
we hear didn't go down too well with Ranveer.
If news are to be believed, then Ranveer has clearly told
Bhansali that he doesn't want to share space with Kapoor in the film's posters
and thus, the makers have now decided to release solo posters of the film's
protagonists.
Deepika Padukone will play the titular role while Singh will
play the role of Sultan Allauddin Khilji in Padmavati.
